This peaceful, sheltered site has a special character. The site is the ideal place to unwind with plenty of safe space, a meandering river and friendly atmosphere. It offers 4 acres with facilities, 7 acres of wilderness, shower block, level pitches, picturesque river, children’s playground and has been rated AA 4 star gold pennant. Becky and John both love Cornwall and fell in love with the site as soon as they saw it and it provided the perfect opportunity for a new challenge. Having only recently taken over at Willow Valley in the Summer of 2024, there are always ongoing improvements being made so make sure you keep in touch. Any returning campers will be glad to know we aren’t changing the campsite itself though. Why would we when it is already so perfect!

Although you’ll feel wonderfully tucked away, we’re perfectly placed for exploring Cornwall. Mawgan Porth is just 9 miles away, Padstow 10 miles, Newquay 11 miles and Mevagissey 15 miles away, making Tregonetha Lake the perfect base for exploring both the north and south coasts. As a Freedom Camping Club Certified Site, we offer peaceful, low-impact camping in a natural setting — no membership required. Camping Tregonetha Lake is home to around 20 camping pitches, so while you’ll have other campers nearby during busier periods, we’ve designed the site to feel spacious, peaceful and relaxed. Whether you choose a lakeside pitch or one of our secluded woodland pitches, there’s always plenty of room to unwind and enjoy nature. We moved here in 2021 to start a camping site. It has been our dream for a long time to give people a great experience and enjoy the wonderful part of the UK that we live in. Come and make some memories. We have 27 acres, the campsite is approx 5 acres with well spaced pitches. and includes access to the wooded area and lake also. We have 2 fields that we have separated for children and dogs to play. There is a stunning lake where you can watch ducks, birds and geese. The wooded area is brimming with wildlife and wild flowers, deer are often running by in the woods. This area is a like a world away, an idyllic escape.

A small family run campsite located on the famous ice cream farm, Roskilly’s. On the Lizard in South West Cornwall, the farm is remote and tucked away with a Cornish feel, yet there is plenty to do. We pitched right by the lake and it was the perfect spot. Such a peaceful location, surrounded by wildlife, making it a lovely place to switch off. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the toilet and washing facilities are spotless and really well thought out. We also really appreciated the eco-friendly approach! The hosts were so welcoming and friendly from the moment we arrived, and nothing was too much trouble. We honestly couldn’t fault the place at all. Such a wonderful little campsite and we’d happily come back again🤍

Mel’s dream to own a campsite which fulfills others dreams of peace, tranquility and the perfect haven to escape from this crazy life and unwind have completely come true. Tregonetha Lake is one of the most beautiful campsites I have ever had the pleasure of visiting. Mel has impeccable taste and an eye for detail- she strikes a wonderful balance between the rustic down to earth back to nature feel and the comfort of beautiful clean showers, impeccably pristine and colourful toilets, washing up sinks, fabulous green and well kept grass. The lake and other paths carefully strewn with bark and decorated with tasteful solar lights- perimeters of the lake have been tastefully landscaped with an abundance of hollyhocks, iris, rhododendrons and other natural plants…. I can’t recommend this site highly enough because it’s just wonderful

I stayed for a single night in my campervan and was really impressed with the site. Its quiet, had all the basic facilities I needed and is well maintained. The fishing lake is lovely and the 2 anglers I watched seemed to be catching some nice fish. Mel & Tom are friendly, welcoming hosts and were kind enough to share some tips on good local beaches for surfing & bodyboarding (reason for my being in Cornwall). I would certainly come back again.
