Our host was very friendly and helpful. Facilities were fine, clean and tidy. You will probably need some ramps if you want to be completely level but wasn’t a problem for us.

Had such a great stay at The Barn!!
Such a lovely campsite and it has everything you need for a relaxing stay! There are great walks in the local area and the on site cafe had amazing pastries!
Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful break!

I loved the location and that their is loads of space to pitch your tent. It is really emmersed in nature, you wake up to the birds chirping and pheasants. I love that you can have a campfire and that they even supply the wood logs to you att a cost!
The evening sky was beautiful and the grass is lushes and green.
There are porta loos and sinks spaced out around the camping area with drinkable water but the showers are right near the car park, which is a bit of walk.
It rained when I was there but it didn't ruin my experience, it was quite nice being in my tent hearing the rain outside.
The cars are parked in the car park, once you have unloaded and set up.
I would definitely recommend Tania's place to stay.

Me and my partner stayed at Chalky downs for 2 nights for a little get away ✨. Sharen’s land is beautiful, everyone is so friendly and we even got to order a sausage bacon and egg bap with tea and coffee in the morning! ☀️. We went into Brighton town for a bit of shopping and to see the sea, only a 14 minute drive and we parked in the station car park 👏🏼. Would 100% recommend and will definitely be going back! Thank you so much. 🫶🏼

Lovely, small campsite on working farm. Each pitch comes with a fire pit and bbq which is a nice touch. Great cafe on site and food trucks/ street food on certain days. We’ll be back!

Awesome set up, with thoughtful amenities like BBQ, BBQ utensils, camp fire pit, wood, hammocks, seats, etc.
After it rained, we were treated to a wonderful rainbow display.
The coffee and pastries in the morning were a treat.

We felt very lucky to be able to stay on Anna’s farm. It’s a beautiful, peaceful place with wonderful views. There’s an orchard and some very pretty sheep! We enjoyed the hammocks in the woods and the firepit. Would definitely recommend.

My recent glamping trip in a bell tent was absolutely great, perfectly blending tranquil nature with a comfortable double bed; soft blankets and pillows and the spacious and thoughtfully decorated bell tent ready and waiting for us. We were able to immediately relax and enjoy our surroundings. It was the perfect escape for anyone who has had a long week at work and loves camping with a touch of luxury.
The sun was shinning and it was wonderful to lie hammock! I'm already looking forward to my next visit!

Lovely site, well spaced out pitches, deckchairs, bbqs and picnic tables provided, facilities clean and functional. There’s also a cafe on site and good walks through the woodland to local pubs.
My only issue was the background road noise but that can’t be helped given the location. It isn’t loud at all but hearing it does take away that feeling of being out in the countryside a little.

Outstanding oasis of calm not far from Chessington and London. Great facilities - showers, loos and soap etc.
We did BYO and loved the tranquility of Pitch 3. Cafe and food trucks are there for ease but note opening times (not around for the evening), both were great.
Charlie is a great host and responded to my questions via Hipcamp promptly. Will definitely come back to this beautiful setting with the kids again.

We had a lovely stay, the campsite was beautiful and had everything we needed! The facilities are great, and the bucket showers were a lot of fun (as well as the nice hot showers next to them!).
There was lots of space between the tents so you felt like you had your own area, and the surrounding area was great to go for a walk or drive to some lovely beaches.
Maria & Raf were lovely and welcoming - we will definitely be back next year :)

Lovely campsite, loads of space for kids to roam, beautiful views over the valley, great facilities - the compost toilets, showers and washing up area were all clean and well maintained. Maria and Raf were delightful and super chilled about, for example, another family joining us one evening for a bbq. Would definitely go back.

We loved our stay here! It’s our first time camping and it was perfect, we stayed with our 3 year old son and he had a great time. Couple of pubs in walking distance and a great coffee hut on site with good pastries and cakes! Would definitely recommend!!

Everything you could ask for on site and great communication before I got there.
I stayed for 2 nights as a midweek escape. I rode out from central London with all my gear on the bike, spent the next day exploring on my gravel bike and packed up and rode back.
Brilliant place for a little reset.

The best great views campsites in Seven Sisters guide
When to go
Visiting the Seven Sisters is a popular choice for day-trippers from London, and viewpoints can get crowded in July and August. Make an early start to snag a parking spot or opt for a weekday visit out of season to enjoy the views to yourself. Camping at Seven Sisters Country Park is possible from April through October only, but some campsites within the South Downs National Park stay open year-round.
Know before you go
- The Seven Sisters cliffs are located between Seaford and Eastbourne, along the south coast of Sussex. The main access points are from Seaford to the west, or Birling Gap in the east. Parking is available at both sites.
- There is a Visitor Centre, restrooms, a café, and paid parking at the Seven Sisters Country Park. From the park, it’s a 3-mile walk or drive to reach the cliffs.
- The Seven Sisters Country Park campsite is a walk-in, tent-only ground with toilets, a cold water shower, and drinking water. You’ll need to bring a stove and all other camping gear with you.
- The cliff-top walk is exposed, so wear hiking shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Coastal winds can be strong, so you might want a light jumper even in summer, and choose a hat with a neck strap.
- The cliff viewpoint at Birling Gap is wheelchair accessible.
