Henbant is an incredible place for so many reasons, if you’re just looking for the basics of a campsite in a stunning location it ticks all the boxes but it doesn’t take much rooting to see it’s way more than that, the spirit of community and harmony with the land Matt and Jenny have nurtured is a thing of beauty, the ethos of life there shines through in every nook and cranny, we only stayed for 2 nights, not long enough, and we loved every moment, we’ll definitely be returning to the most inspiring, life affirming place we’ve encountered in north wales, big thanks Henbant, see you again soon x

3 nights at Henbant Permaculture Farm + Camp

An outstanding place to camp for a "wild camping" experience, but with some extra creature comforts, in one of the most beautiful locations in the UK. I can't recommend it highly enough, particularly for a family or relaxed trip.

Lovely campsite, beautiful surroundings/views. The people who live/work there were all lovely and friendly. Toilets and sink are great, clean areas. Will be looking visit again with my young child next time. Would recommend the campsite, thank you for having us!

The land at Henbant and community at are precious. The camping pitches are simple with access to the basics you need, and there are small cabins built into the land that are gorgesous and cosy. The values and vision of the Hanbant community are an inspiration and well worth supporting.

Weekend Trip to Marbury Camp and Lodge

Lovely quiet and well kept site. Would definitely recommend. Nice and peaceful location with private pitches for tourers and a large fairly flat field for camping. The dog walking field was an added bonus. 2x toilets and 2x showers for male and female visitors - were clean and modern. Washing up facilities and our touring pitch had electric and water. All good - would stay again. Good location for visiting different attractions and plenty of places to eat nearby.

Beautiful place amazing and friendly staff this was our first time taking the children camping and they had a wonderful time here the fields go on and on for and for us that loves to go walking this place was amazing there is some old ruins kids loved looking at the stream and all the farm animals that was there it was just a perfect all round can’t wait to come back! Thank you for having us.

Nice little campsite, not many pitches which makes it more cosy and less noisey! Facilities are clean and decent with great views in every direction. It’s in the middle of nowhere so you may need a car to go off exploring! We took the kids to Havenrigg beach which was about 10mins away, lovely little place! Noise policy was good, 11pm cut off which suited us with little ones.

This is such a nice site, amazing views, perfect sunset and lots of walks nearby. Lovely clean facilities and spacious pitches. Andy popped down to say hello, really nice to meet you. All of the other guests were respectful and the site was quiet by 9:30.

3 nights at Baystone Bank Farm Campsite

Lovely campsite, beautiful spot, view of mountais and walks straight off the site. Very quiet and calm (this was April) We never met the owners and nobody at the reception caravan when we arrived although we werecwithing the arrival time, so we just got on with it. A few bits in the shop and some food served but no real coffee would be the only downfall. I hoped to cafe might have some! Showers worked and lots of hot water to wash up with. If we didn't live so far away, I would definitely visit again. Also, amazing for riding at the center, if that is your thing, everyone wes very friendly.

2 nights at White Peak Camping

The area was beautiful, and the views were amazing. The hosts were great and sold us wood for our fire both night's. Overall will be coming again and can't recommend enough to come here.

2 nights at White Peak Camping

We had a wonderful couple of nights staying at White Peak Farm. It's a very basic campsite but that's exactly what we wanted, there's no showers but the toilets were very clean and fully stocked and big enough to get changed and washed in. My daughter absolutely loved the tree swing and the table and chairs scattered around, there were also plenty of bricks and barrels so we could make a fire. Janice and Paul were the perfect hosts, they greeted us when we arrived, went above and beyond when we had a request and let us see the newborn lambs. Matt was extremely helpful when bringing the firewood and helped us get it started the first night when we weren't getting anywhere! The farm is the perfect location from the local walks, we walked to Chee Dale Stepping Stones from the camp site. Morrisons is also 5 mins in the car if you need anything. We will definitely be back!

4 nights at White Peak Camping

The campsite is in such a beautiful area, there are loads of wonderful walks nearby. It is high up, the walk back from the Monsal trail is steep but worth the effort as the field is so very peaceful...perfect if you just want great views, a loo, sink and drinking water. There was always plenty of loo roll and hand-wash. Janice and Paul very welcoming and provided lots of info. Have booked again for next month!

Weekend Trip to Brook Farm

What a lovely little camp site, it was soooo quiet and the weather was perfect. We went for a really nice walk upto the village through the fields, we met with the Church Warden and his wife, who were so lovely, then we went down to the pub for dinner one night too. The site is just right for what I wanted, I don't like all those sites with perfect pitches and lots of rules. My family came over to join me for a bbq, after Id asked Ann first, as the site was not busy on the Sunday, and Ann popped over to say hello. It was just perfect. Thank you Ann, we will be back.

Weekend Trip to White Peak Camping

Had a great stay here! Turned up very late but the site was easy to find and there was plenty of space. Had dinner around a campfire before sleeping under the stars, then left early next morning. Would highly recommend if you're in the area! Also, my car is pretty low and had no problem driving through the farmyard to the campsite.
