Just spent three nights in our campervan at Wold Farm. We received a warm and friendly welcome and were invited to choose a pitch anywhere we fancied. It’s a nice, open site and the pitches are spacious. Toilets were clean with plenty of hot water. We knew there were no showers on site but would really have liked some!

A beautiful spot with great views and lovely hosts too. It feels very secluded but also very safe so we will definitely be going again. No complaints or issues at all and we would definitely recommend to others.

I found the campsite easy to find, Margaret is lovely. I camped in the orchard with my tent. I enjoyed my stay and I was made to feel welcome. There is one toilet there near to reception and portable water. I would stay again and recommend it to,

This was our 2nd time at Butt Farm, and it definitely won’t be our last. We love it. The pitches are a great size. When we first arrived our allocated pitch had a tent on it but was quickly resolved, we were given 2 pitches to choose from. There are a few bbq’s which you can borrow free and fire pits for £12 per night including wood, which I think is very reasonable. Plenty of instant hot water for washing up. Fridge and freezers free to use. Nice toilets/showers, again with plenty of instant hot water (and music playing while you shower 😍). Oh and very free range eggs (chickens are loose on the site) for £2 for 6!! Brilliant. It’s only about 40 mins walk into Beverley. There’s really nothing to not like about this site. Would highly recommend. Will definitely return.

We had a hard standing pitch for our campervan. The electric point was a little far for our hookup, but they provided an extension at reception not problem. Great location. Great stay.

Great location for some lovely walks - the cafe at Castle Howard is dog friendly with plenty of seating so a good port of call. The site was quiet and staff helpful - would stay again.

From the greeting text before our stay to a friendly smile as we were setting up, was just lovely. Great facilities that were very clean and the site was lovely and well laid out. Great location for Beverly or the east coast.

A lovely small campsite with plenty of space. Facilities were clean and not overcrowded washing up had hot water and there was a freezer for ice packs too. Showers were hot too and a good pressure. Signal was not as bad as we’d been led to believe 4G could be found in the camping field although not in the facility block. A really nice place to stay and well worth checking out Castle Howard itself while you’re there, fascinating place.

At check in we were provided with large amount of very informative insight about the campsite itself plus information on the surrounding area.
The campsite facilities are exactly as described and spotlessly clean. Overall a great weekend

The absolute best of everything, whether you are on grass or hardstanding, a beautiful site in the grounds of Castle Howard.
Plenty of space too, although we were here on a Sunday, already booked to come back later this week.
Value for money as it used to be twenty years ago before the sites became too commercial and expensive.
