We are a small, family run, eco-friendly campsite in Chailey, set in a peaceful pocket of Sussex countryside.
Our uniqueness includes therapies offered on site, including massage, reiki and pellowah; our classes run on site, including yoga, and gong baths; the wide range of outdoor games we can provide; and our commitment to making your camping experience as pleasurable as possible. We also have a fantastic wood-fired sauna all day on Saturdays, a delicious pizza oven on Saturday evenings, and a coffee truck on weekend mornings!
We allow campfires and dogs, and for those who seek a little luxury in camping, we have spacious hot showers. We also have a number of beautiful Bell Tents available to hire, which we will put up for you prior to your arrival (min 2 nights).

Ramble along to Hastingford Fishery, an adults-only shepherd's hut and fishing site set in a scenic lakeside setting less than five minutes’ drive from the East Sussex village of Hadlow Down and 20 minutes from Royal Tunbridge Wells. This site should suit couples or singles wanting to 'get away from it all' and also fishing fans down to the ground. It’s got several fishing lakes to choose from with lots of different species, so settle down on the banks with rod in hand and while away a few hours (or days) in quiet contemplation, waiting for something to bite. But please note, the site is not for 'competition anglers' although there are plenty of good sized carp around. and asks anyone fishing to only use barbless hooks, and for fish to be returned to the lake quickly after being caught.Not the fishing type? Chill out in and around your secluded hut, or there’s plenty to entertain in a leisurely fashion: paths wind around the lakes and through copses/shaws (as this is the High Weald) plus through the local countryside. There are spectacular views towards the South Downs National Park from the top lakes. A spring-fed lake is also on site to cool off in with some wild swimming. The shepherd hut was clean and very comfortable. The location was peaceful and we had some amazing sunsets and rises.
The wood fired hot tub was great as was the wood fire BBQ which was super easy to use and made the food taste great.
We had a fantastic 2 nights and can’t wait to go back.

The campsite was lovely, huge with nice compost loos and you could camp anywhere. Fires were welcomed and the hot showers were great too.
However, the site wasn’t very flat, so you had to pick a good spot.
It also seems like the site is only weekends which is a lot of effort to get setup for only two nights! If we could camp for longer we’d definitely be back as we loved it!

This was such a perfect campsite for my friend and I over the bank holiday. We took the train into Hayward’s Heath and grabbed a cab outside the station (cab is about £20 each way). As others have mentioned, it’s not the flattest site but it’s easy enough to find a spot. It was so quiet and peaceful and lovely to have a fire right at our tent. In terms of nearby food, we had a great burger over at the Missing Link brewery, a quick drink at the Cat Inn and a sunny breakfast at the Pericles Cafe (all accessible on foot not that far from the site). We went on a couple big walks walked through loads of local woods and up to the Gravetye Estate and the Weir Wood Reservoir - there’s plenty of public pathways (useful to have the OS app for this) and beautiful countryside. We’ll definitely be back. Didn’t use the showers but the compost toilets were totally fine and not smelly and there was plenty of water points around.

What a wonderful place to escape the rat race! Such friendly and attentive hosts and what a beautiful, peaceful setting. Kids ran free through the woodland - building dens, getting their hands dirty, and making new friends. Yes, the pitches are sloped and compost toilets aren’t for everyone - but we love the back to basics slow living. We also appreciated the “no music” rule and how quiet the campsite got towards 10pm. Despite being the bank holiday weekend, the site was a pleasant level of business - not crowded at all. We will be back!

Great site. Lovely setup, lots of space and showers were great. Good little hut supplying wood, kindling and, most importantly, marshmallows! Toilets were well spread around and in decent condition. Would definitely recommend and would return. It’s a back to nature site but worked perfectly for a long weekend away with my 10 year old. Nice pubs nearby for dinner/lunch and easily walkable. Thoroughly recommend!

Earth Camp was a great place to pitch a tent and relax for a lovely weekend outdoors. The facilities are solid and the pizzas on Saturdays are excellent value for money. Certain parts of the field are a bit sloped, so make sure to arrive early to get the best pick of the pitches!

My friend and I had a delightful stay, with our kids, at this charming little site, at the end of July. Katie, the campsite owner, couldn’t have been more friendly, helpful and accommodating. She made us feel welcome from the start. Nothing was too much trouble for her. The campsite is rustic, with drinking water vessels, buckets for showers (there was a place to heat up the water), and eco friendly toilets. The location next to the river is beautiful. The kids were in heaven. They swam, paddle boarded and road bikes to the local shops, and generally went on adventures. You are surrounded by nature, with cows only a few steps away. It’s a little slice of heaven. My friend and I actually managed to relax, which is unheard of whilst camping. The kids were so content and occupied. Thank you to Katie and your beautiful family. We will be back again for sure

Great site with freedom to choose where to pitch. Not easy to find a level pitch however there is plenty of space. Good clean showers and plenty of composting toilets around the site. For the price it was well worth it.
