Adjoining the field we have a recreational field including park and the fabulous Oakhill Inn serves fantastic food including takeaway pizza and Burgers.

I loved camping at Polly’s site!! It was peaceful, well maintained and easy to use as a base. Everyone was friendly and the showers were awesome!

Excellent little campsite with super friendly owners, lovely clean facilities, great views and dog walks nearby. Owner Charlotte recommended the nearby Oakhill Inn for dinner which was lovely too. We’ll definitely be back.

I loved staying at Bowehayes Farm.
The setting was peaceful and very unique. You have all the facilities you could ask for, including the best shower I've ever used at a camp site!
Howard was very friendly and helpful, I'll definitely be back.

Absolutely magical stay! From the moment we arrived at Steam and Stars, everything was perfect. The hot tub was preheated and ready for us, which was very much needed after the Friday traffic. Nothing was too much trouble for our wonderful hosts, who truly went above and beyond. Our dogs were safe and free to roam, which made the stay even more relaxing. The property was spotless, with incredible attention to detail. We were delighted by the thoughtful extras, like cookies and cake on arrival. The facilities were easy to access and had everything we needed for a comfortable break. The views were stunning — we were lucky enough to see a steam train pass by, adding to the charm! Amazing wildlife all around made it feel like a true retreat. We can’t thank the hosts enough for their hospitality. A fantastic experience that we’ll definitely be recommending! Communication was brilliant throughout!

Howard is the best host ever. For some technical reason our booking was done at a ti è he and he family has other plans. However he still went out of her way to accommodate us. The site is perfect, quiet, among apple trees. Excellent facilities. We had the best time.
