Christchurch, England · 103 units · Tents, Glamping
Dog-friendly pop-up site in a spacious ten-acre field A 10-minute drive from beaches and 15 minutes from Milford on Sea Whether you’re paddleboarding on local beaches, pursuing outdoor activities in the New Forest or mooching around the nearby towns, there’s a great balance between civilisation and peaceful countryside at In Nature Camping, part of Coast & Country Camping Club in Hampshire Under a mile from the edge of the New Forest National Park and 10 minutes’ drive away from beaches, there’s lots on the agenda here: days at the beach, visits to nearby historic towns and properties as well as shopping in local villiages. There’s a microbrewery 10 minutes' walk away, which serves drinks like small-cask beer, handcrafted ales and ‘unfined’ beer. A five-minute drive away, there’s another café with pick-your-own farm produce activities. The closest beaches for strolls, snoozes, swimming and the likes are Avon beach (10 minutes), Highcliffe beach (10 minutes) Barton-on-sea beach (10 minutes). As for interesting local towns with shops and cafés, make your way to Highcliffe (five minutes), Christchurch (10 minutes), New Milton (five minutes) and Milford on Sea (15 minutes). The main road from Lyndhurst to the coast runs just a short distance from the field, making it nice and easy to access local attractions. What about the place you’ll be calling home for your Hampshire holiday? Off-grid, it’s very much a wildlife haven. Try your hand at self-sufficiency (barbecues and firepits are allowed, weather conditions permitting) or grab your meals locally. There are four hot showers, six toilets and two washing-up sinks for those of you who decide to dust off the old camp stove and try cooking under the stars.

Set in an utterly breathtaking ancient landscape, your horizons will be vast! The campsite supports the 1000-year-old Chantry Farm in the South Downs National Park on Wolstonbury Hill with 3 listed Bronze Age earthworks. Spacious grass pitches with a small nearby carpark and wheelbarrows for transport to keep the camping meadow like a meadow.. and then the Skyline Cabin which has the perfect blend of luxury with back to basics.. There are some lovely local pubs, the Plough has a great range of food and is a short walk. Ditchling is nearby with real history (see Anne of Cleves house) and some super talented Artist Open Houses in Sept. Brighton and the beach is a short drive or cycle away. The bus service is fine and now includes Sundays so enjoy the city with its quirky independent shops if that's your thing. There's a perfect circular 45 min walk - see our map plus a Zen washing experience guide - welcome to freshly laundered flannels and piping hot water Preservation of this precious chalk grassland with its outrageously abundant summer meadow flowers is a priority for us. See the orchids in July.. Welcome guests who share that appreciation. We also care about food security and planted a top fruit orchard with walnuts and cobnuts too! Nature spontaneously provides blackberries, sloes.. which are shared. The Barn Owl have their own boxes (although they still enjoy the big barn) and skylarks sing high above the tussocky terrain. Come join them! Even if your singing isn't so good.

Woodsland Farm is a 70 acre organic farm with the Cockhaise Brook meandering through species-rich flood meadows alongside ancient woodland. Guests should be aware of the rural nature of the site and the ecological and sustainable ethos of Woodsland Farm and The Force of Nature. Please note there is solar powered energy, very little mobile phone service, no WIFI and few modern conveniences on the bell tent site. That is its beauty! However, there is, in abundance, the healing power of nature, and peace and quiet – apart from birdsong and the rustle of the leaves on the trees.
