Rosehip Wood Campsite is a nature rich, off-grid wild campsite set in a peaceful woodland. Before we even booked our stay, the communication was fantastic. When we arrived we were welcomed by Andy who was friendly and helpful. Our pitch was great, with the use of a fire pit to cook our marshmallows. The toilets, showers, and washing up area was always clean. A short walk to the end of the field was the river where we had great paddles with our kayak and paddle boards, dog walks. It was a safe site for the children. Beautiful garden area. We went to March for food at the black rock grill and smokehouse which was delicious and well worth the money. It was a quiet and pleasant atmosphere and we will definitely be back to this site.
The electric is on a metre but only cost us £5 for 3 days and we had our heater plugged in as well as the kettle on a lot. The little shop has fire wood, ice cream, drinks and snacks.

What a unique and beautiful place to have stumbled across as a last minute change of travel plans. I almost forgot I was in Norfolk, this spot is incredibly well maintained, peaceful, a dream to wake up by the water and watch the swans and heron and has all the amenities you could need for a camping trip or similar. Great location, everywhere is accessible and yet you don’t feel trapped in the hustle and bustle of the coast. And getting a HOT shower right in nature topped it off, just what I needed.

Very nice back-to-basics campsite. The pitches in the meadow are really well spaced out with wild grasses and flowers between them. Some pitches are half under trees with hammocks provided! Facilities are as basic as they get - 3 or 4 composting toilets, one gas powered shower in a sort of a little wooden shack, and one washing up station with cold water provided. If you're there at the end of Summer as we were, you'll be able to pick your own blackberries from right next to your tent, there's more than enough for everyone!

Really well spaced and sized plots in a beautiful wildflower meadow. Hosts are welcoming, thoughtful when spacing guest dogs, and generous with their local tips when asked. There are a few well-built compost toilets scattered around the site.

This was our first trip in our new camper van and my first ever proper camping experience. It could not have been lovelier, surrounded by wild flower meadows, butterflies, bees and a proud black bird we had the most perfect stay. The campsite is so well maintained, friendly and in a fab location, we would not hesitate to recommend and will most definitely be back.

Beautiful site with pitches round the lake and in the forest. So much wildlife including swans and bats!
Facilities are rustic and basic but clean, and the site in general is well kept with mowed meadows between wilder growth.
The tranquility of the site is somewhat disturbed by gunshots on surrounding farmland every 10 minutes or so from 7am until dusk which we presumed was an automated system to deter birds from the crops?
15 minutes drive to the nearest beach of Salthouse and 5mins to the town of Holt which has plenty of shops selling groceries, pet supplies and fuel.

Really, really enjoyed our stay with Deb's and Hannah. The site was spotless, facilities spotless. Lots of little areas such as the fairy garden and the bug/critter friendly area next to the river. Smashing 45 minute walk into March for a coffee. One of my favourite sites and can't wait to go back for our next visit. Very peaceful and calming fab for re-charging your batteries
