Great place for back to basic camping. We had a great time and the kids loved running around the field and picking the sunflowers next door. Toilets provided but no drinking water which is fine as we brought our own anyway.
Only a few other campers there so plenty of space, booked 2 pitches as there was a few of us and we could easily park up close to each other.
12 o’clock check out is great as it gave us time to fry up some breakfast before leaving.
Would recommend to anyone who love the open space and basic camping. Hosts were easy to contact and very helpful, gave clear instructions to find the field and didn’t have to bother them for anything.

Lovely area close to beautiful walks in Cannock Chase. Canalside walk is even closer (though not a loop!). The campsite also has a great playground for kids, with ponies and horses in the next fields. Small bar to get drinks too for the adults

Harry was very helpful, greated us on arrival, delivered logs and kindling to our pitch! Great place, spacious pitches and clean toilets and showers and washing up facilities. Pizza on Friday nights and coffee van in the morning! Beautiful area to stay in pub only 20min walk away! Will definitely stay again!

I’m only 25 mins away but wanted a night away for the summer solstice and a bit of peace and quiet with my partner and dog.
Last minute booking with a message straight back to say all good and got the field to ourselves.
Found it easily with clear instructions, had a lovely evening and an early start for the sunrise and a lovely walk on local footpaths.
Very much recommended for space and peace. We’ll be back.
