You have your choice of camping with your van or small RV, small trailer or tent, in a level, forested area (not lakeside) with picnic table and fire pit, or tenting lakeside with water views, picnic table and fire pit, or both! You have access to both, one reservation comes with both spots, so you can enjoy the lakeside regardless of where you sleep. Vehicles cannot reach the tent site, it is a steep trail about a 150 feet. Although our campsite is near the lake, you cannot drive to the water from the campsite. It is a steep, short hike down to the water. There is one canoe at the campsite you are free to use or bring your own canoes, kayaks and/ or paddle boards to enjoy the superb water. There are no motor boats on the lake, so the paddling and swimming is great. There are three private homes on the lake, adjacent to where your site it located so we ask that no loud partying, play music only quietly and no generators. There are no campers on either side of your campsite, we only offer one, campsite. There is a nice, clean outhouse and no other amenities (Tier D in HipCamp-speak). No on-site water but it can be obtained at our house, just ask. We have a dog on the property, who is friendly and off leash. If having a dog come visit would be a problem for you, please don't make a reservation. If you plan on bringing a dog please let us know. We loved Elisa’s tent site beautifully located gorgeous lake amazing swimming canoeing if desired beautiful trails for hiking close to scenic towns we would highly recommend this spot for anyone to stay!

This is an incredible site! Having access to the lake is incredible and the views all around this area are awesome. Sites were well equipped with fire pits and tables, and the outhouse was clean and comfortable. Elisa’s directions were very accurate and easy to follow. She was very responsive and more than accommodating. Zero complaints, we had a great stay.

We camped next to the lake and it was absolutely beautiful and so quiet. The site was super clean and well maintained. The directions were clear and getting to the property was really easy. Would absolutely camp here again!

This campsite was Great! My daughter and I stayed at the second site by the water and left our vehicle up at the first site. We got to go out exploring and fishing with the canoe, great weather, nice privacy, and still around 20 mins to all the stores in Stowe if you need any supplies for food. I would recommend this site to anyone. My daughter and I would love to return again and plan a hike at the camels hump!

This is a lovely, quiet and private location! Very beautiful. The land is very steep/hilly so have your sneakers, and you’ll want to be at the lower site as the top site is very removed. You will have to do some hauling, so keep it simple. Elisa was generous and easy to work with. Green River Reservoir is a gem! Much to explore and great swimming.

A perfect spot. Camped there with our 5 and 2 year old boys and puppy. It was nice and private but also easy to get to. We went out twice on the canoe and it was wonderful! Elisa was so nice.

This is an amazing campsite. It’s incredibly quiet and private and well laid out. We had a great time paddling on the reservoir. We hope to come back!

Camping at Elisa's hipcamp was wonderful. The campsite was open and clean and the property owner was around to help guide me as I backed my camper in (because that is not my strong suit). The teens I had camping with me had an excellent time swimming and paddleboarding. Great place to camp.

This is our second stay at Elisa’s Hipcamp and just like our stay last year it was wonderful. This time we were able to get out on the water in the provided canoe and take advantage of a calm day on the lake. At night we enjoyed our dinner around the campfire listening to loons, owls and tree frogs. Elisa is a great host who is quick to respond to communications and will make your stay very enjoyable. We highly recommend this Hipcamp!

We contacted Elisa to ask if we could use this site to go canoeing. She agreed and we completed the reservation. Around 5AM on the morning of, I received a text telling us not to come due to high winds, so we didn’t go. I asked for a refund because it was the host who advised us not to show up. I still have not received a refund or response from Elisa and we never got to use our reservation. At first I appreciated the heads up and genuinely thought she was just looking out, but now we feel scammed and would advise caution to other people booking.

Loved our stay here! Just outside of Morrisville and not too far from Stowe. The outhouse was super clean. We loved waking up near the lake and taking the canoe for a little spin. So beautiful in the fall.

We had an absolute wonderful time! Elisas campsite was perfect and she was so accommodating. The only problem was that we didn't stay at least a couple more nights. We will be back! AMAZING

Really wonderful spot!! Hosts are very welcoming and the sites are awesome. The outhouse was immaculate. Access to the lake was great with the canoe; it’s a fairly large lake to explore and was quite beautiful with the fall colors. We will definitely be back!

Camping on the Res!

Elisa’s property is amazing! I wanted to camp near/at green river reservoir and this turned out to be the perfect option. It’s tucked into a nice spot on the res with great sense of privacy. It’s also a great option if you don’t have kayaks/canoes to camp out on the state park’s sites . Elisa went out of her way to make us comfortable and also provided us peace and quiet to enjoy our time. It’s a very short walk to the site from the car, just 2 min walking, and the spot is great for swimming and the canoe is a great addition. One note is that Google Maps has the wrong location (it brings you to Puckerbrush West off of Center Road 15 min away). My Maps app on my iPhone has the correct location though. It’s off of Garfield road onto Stevens Lane, and then bear left onto Patnoe farm. I can’t wait to be back!

Lovely quiet spot. Great amenities. Relatively flat parking space for our van. Only had to use two levelers. Comfortable and clean outhouse. A very chill location...bring your most comfortable chairs for lounging. Easy river access via a path down to the waters edge to amazing paddling. The aluminum canoe provided was a plus. Very beautiful surrounding area to explore. Recommend Elmore Mountain hike. We would go back and bring tent camping friends to use the included camping site by the water. Highly recommend!

The spot was beautifuly surrounded by wood and quietness. The directions were well explained. It is quite a walk with your equipment if you want to sleep by the water…pack light. Enjoyed the beautiful river reservoir:)

One of the best campsites I've stayed at! Picnic tables at both the upper and lower areas was very helpful for food and fire prep, flat area for tent setup, plenty of trees for hammocks, and easy access for swimming. Also very private! If you're thinking of staying here, consider this your sign to stop looking for other places and book here!

Beautiful Spot! The lake was amazing and perfect for canoeing and kayaking since there were no boats. The outhouse was the nicest I've ever used and Elisa was a great host!

Very nice site to set up your tent. Owners are welcoming and very helpful. The site is right on a beautiful lake and there are plenty of trees to provide cover, or set up a tarp, if it rains. There is a canoe that you are able to use as well. The site is quiet and very private but close enough (15 minutes) to the small town if you need anything.

We really enjoyed our time here. Elisa’s land was quiet and peaceful. Having access to both spots allowed us to set up our hammocks down by the water to relax and enjoy the views of the lake while having our tent and gear up set up ahead. Elisa was very welcoming and gave a quick little tour of her land while also offering use of their canoe and paddle board, which added more fun to our trip!
