CreekStone in Candler, NC

We had a great time there. Louedith’s place is great. Chris was a gem! We loved that y’all invited us up for some music and we even got to sing some karaoke! Joan had a good walk around the area and we enjoyed church right there in walking distance of our site. But we drove over anyway. We felt so at home! I’m sure we will be going back.

The campsites are well maintained with easy access to utilities. The communal barn is exceptional! A perfect place to get away from it all. Cell service is spotty, but the barn has Wi-Fi. Louedith was a great host! We will definitely be back.

Great site convenient to WNC

We love this spot! It is convenient to both Asheville and Waynesville but has the peace and quiet of the country. The views of the mountains are wonderful. We camped in a 23’ travel trailer and had plenty of space for truck and trailer. Site 1 is next to the Airbnb but everyone has plenty of privacy with the way they both are situated and a privacy wall that has been built between the 2. Site 1 is gravel and well packed and very level. He didn’t have to do much more than pull in and park. Hook ups are good but a longer water hose (50’) may be needed. The barn is charming and gives another hang out space when you don’t want go go nowhere but don’t want to be in the camper. Louedith is a wonderful host. She is very welcoming and genuinely wants you to enjoy your stay. We will be back.

Quiet and peaceful

We enjoyed how quiet and peaceful it was. Louedith was very responsive and when we had an issue with our sewer hose she and her husband responded immediately and tried to help remedy our situation. We enjoyed exploring trails and waterfalls in the Pisgah National Forest. Would definitely stay here again.

We really enjoyed staying at Creekstone. Very quiet and peaceful. Getting turned around and into the Vista 2 was a puzzle, but we managed really enough. Extra cords and hoses are a must depend on your trailer/RV.

Night Sky Hideaway tiny home

We thoroughly enjoyed spending time at Louedith's property. Though our site was right next to a house she rents out via AirBnB & VRBO, there were no guests staying while we were there and so it still seemed pretty private for being in a small neighborhood. The view was breathtaking and we spent our evenings next to the communal firepit. The hosts provided well-seasoned firewood bundles for $10 and even let us buy extra for the next leg of our trip. Louedith was very responsive to all of our questions and provided great directions to the property. As hosts ourselves, we appreciated the detailed information. If you are in the area and are looking for a break from the big RV campgrounds, I highly suggest checking out one of Louedith's Creekstone sites.

We had a wonderful stay at this RV spot! 🌄 The mountain views were absolutely stunning. The site was spacious, quiet, and perfect for our RV. We truly enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere and the fresh mountain air. The hosts were very kind and responsive, making sure we had everything we needed. What a beautiful site! And convenient. Our host Louedith is amazing and we met some other wonderful campers during our stay. We didn’t realize all the barn has to offer until our last day when we were picnicking at our campsite with family when a squall came through. We sought refuge in the barn and what an absolutely amazing space it is. A great place for a family reunion! Maybe next year… 🩷

Great site! PERFECT location, just miles from Asheville without the congestion, and easy access to state parks, blue ridge parkway, and any other attraction you're visiting the area for! The site is clean and beautiful with relative privacy, but at site 3 you'll have a close neighbor. I highly recommend this place. Louedith has been great.

We had an awesome stay! Louedith was such a sweetheart, and was very accommodating when the booking site gave us issues. Clean and quiet area. Clean port-a-potty for the site. Water was available, as well as trash disposal. There was a deck at our site, and an adorable barn down the road with games inside, and the mountain views were excellent. Also allowed pets so that was a plus. Price was definitely nice as well. Would definitely stay again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Peaceful mountain setting

The views were beautiful. The setting was peaceful. There was a camper parked right next to us, but fortunately the neighbors were friendly and quiet. The barn was a nice place to hang out, but it was very dirty and not many games. We still enjoyed swinging in the chair swings. We also loved the fire pit and mountain views.

Just a wonderful spot and the kids age 5 and 6 were overjoyed with the barn house. This is a really good base camp to be able to then go to Asheville and Hendersonville to enjoy the sites around. Our hosts were easy going and friendly. Would definitely visit again! Thank you :-)

Easy for large rig to navigate Gorgeous view It was our first trip in our new Schoolie rig, and we had some epic travel aggravations along the way. This Hipcamp site was the one bright spot in all that. 😆 I’d like to visit again when we can use it for a base camp for hiking or kayaking. This time it’s just been us regrouping to get on the road again

Our second trip to Louedith’s beautiful site. Gorgeous Mountain View’s! We woke up to wild turkeys roaming the frosty grass. Private, secluded well maintained property! If you love clamping but prefer not to stay in big RV parks, this is your spot close to Asheville.

We had a wonderful stay at Louedith's. The view was spectacular. The owners touched base with us as soon as we arrived and were very accommodating. We did have spotty WIFI from the camper but no issues if we were outside. We chose the site that was closest to the one home but offered more privacy for us and the view was amazing.

Great spot! We were on motorcycles and never concerned once about security; we left a lot of gear on the bikes with no worries! We were greeted soon after arrival but the hosts were very unobtrusive after that. The tent setup was a great help, the star gazing was great, and the area was quiet. Plenty of parking for cars as well. The water source was close, clean, and easy to use, and the bathroom was very clean as well.

My girlfriend and I had a great experience staying at the Crow's Nest Campsite. Louedith and Todd were great at communicating and gave very helpful instructions on reaching the site. The tent platform was large enough for our 2-person tent as well as chairs and a table, and the portable restroom was very clean.

Such lovely hosts and a spectacular view. Louedith and Todd were very accommodating to our needs. In spite of being located near a few houses the atmosphere on the property was charming and peaceful. The barn was much fun with things to do. Loved being there!

Camping near Blue Ridge Parkway

We were pleasantly surprised by this location! Very close to Blue Ridge pkwy and some really good hiking, not far from Asheville, Hendersonville, etc. and so, so quiet! Plenty of space to get yourself situated comfortably at your campsite. Great views all around. We got to see the Milky Way so clearly one of our nights there since there was not much light pollution. We met the host and her son, both of which were very nice and respectful. Needless to say, we will definitely be back!
