We loved our time camping at Fig Tree! Ruth and Ken’s property is incredible and in such a lovely area. We had a fantastic spot camping away from the other campers and it was nice being able to enjoy our own space without hearing other campers.

This isn’t camping… this is next-level!!!
Two nights here and my husband and I didn’t want to leave. Absolute peace and privacy… each site is so well spaced you can’t see or hear a single person. It’s just you, the stars, and your own fire-pit.
And that’s the magic… sitting there at night, watching the flames flicker while the sky lights up… pure reset! 🔥
The views are unreal, but the standout? The silo bar. Such a cool, well thought-out communal space.
And the amenities… honestly 5-star. Toilets that were spotless (sparkling in fact) and an indoor hot shower… that would put most hotels to shame.
You can tell the owners have poured blood, sweat and tears into this place. Every detail is intentional. It’s not just a stay… it’s an experience.
They even have their own airstrip, hangar, and light aircraft 🛩️
If you’re thinking about booking… just do it… it’s AMAZING!

The view is amazing, check in is smooth. The shower (with heat lamb) and toilet are super clean and comfy. Ruth and Ken were super welcoming! Me and my partner had a great time there!

Ruth and Ken were wonderful hosts, and their property is absolutely stunning. It’s such a peaceful and relaxing place to stay. The amenities were excellent, and the views were beautiful. I would highly recommend staying here and would happily return again.

Very beautiful and private camping site just around 1 hour to Toowoomba. Ken welcomed us at the entrance and help us settled down. The toilet and shower were spotless clean and the water was very hot! it just a bit windy and cold at the hills, suggest bring warm clothes.

Fig tree camping was lovely! Very much enjoyed a little getaway at Ken and Ruth’s place. Amenities were great and Ken was super friendly and accomodating when we needed to change dates. Stunning spot, very well looked after and can’t wait to come back. Thanks Ruth and Ken!

We had a gorgeous weekend escape staying in the beautifully set up silo. It was 5deg outside and we were so cosy inside with our fireplace. So quiet, gorgeous views, spectacular sunset, awesome stars. Thought, care and quality has gone into the silo but the property and gardens. Loved it.

Wow I don’t even know where to begin.. a little reluctant to review because it was THAT good and I don’t want to spoil this hidden gem! Ruth and Ken are absolutely delightful hosts and instructions were so easy to follow. I am forever grateful to have had this place to myself for a couple of nights for some much needed RnR. Photos do not do it justice. I hope to be back and I wish Ruth and Ken all the best on their new adventures ❤️❤️❤️

Came here with a couple of my friends, we booked the absolute stunning glamping silo. I would highly recommend this as the amenities and views of the night sky were amazing as always. Ruth and Ken definitely made the place feel so much like home for myself and my friends. We'll definitely be coming back soon 🙂

Awesome spot to check out the region and pull out the camera to make the most of the amazing night sky you can get here! Awesome hosts and very friendly and helpful! Great amenities on site and we really enjoyed our two nights Saturday and Sunday nights over the Easter break. Will be sure to send thru the drone shots when my holidays are over Ken!

It was a very good experience. They welcomed me. It was a well-maintained camping site. It was comfortable and pleasant and the night sky was amazing! It was nice that there were clean toilets and showers. I will go back with my family later.

Ruth & Ken were wonderful and very accommodating. Ablutions well kept and clean, with a stunning view whilst showering.

The place itself is really nice, beautiful view and a nice camping ground, no hard rocks in the ground so it’s suitable for tent!! Especially with a super clean shower & toilet, this im exactly what my friend and I are looking for!

Ruth and Ken were both accomodating during our stay over the Easter break and even checked us in at 6pm and guided us to our site. The area is so peaceful and not over crowded. There’s plenty of space and privacy in between campers. The toilet amenities were immaculate. I would definitely go back again! ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️

I love the Figtree Country Retreat campsite, phenomenal views and the night sky is absolutely unreal of how amazing it was. Ken and Ruth were absolutely wonderful people and they really care for their visitors on sight.
Got to photograph Comet G3 Atlas here and definitely will be back for more astrophotography projects.

Yesterday’s glamping trip was truly amazing. The place was beautiful, with stunning views and an abundance of wildlife such as kangaroos, koalas, and rabbits. It was incredibly peaceful and relaxing, a perfect getaway to reconnect with nature. Thank you for organizing such a wonderful experience!

We couldn’t have a better experience at Fig Tree Camping. Everything was just amazing, Ruth & Ken were absolutely brilliant hosts. You could tell how passionate the owners were about their place, the camping sites, glamping and their lifestyle. The view was breathtaking, serene and peaceful.
Very well maintained camping site with designated fire pits area, clean bathrooms and shower.
Absolute unique lookouts, you can lay down and watch the sunset and Milky Way at night.
We really enjoyed our weekend and will definitely go back.
