With kids
Anyone who knows me knows I’m more indoorsy than outdoorsy, but we brought our two kids and dog out to SA for the long weekend and had the best time! We pretty much had the place to ourselves. It was so quiet but there was still so much to do! Carol and Daryl have gone out of their way to make their home feel like yours! The pool was clean and a perfect temperature. We tried most of the wide variety of games and had lots of laughs. The quiet mornings and evenings listening to the crickets, frogs and birds could not be beat. There was nothing pretentious about this place, just good old fashioned family fun! Highly recommend and we will probably be back :D

We had doubts about the site as we drove in, but as we explored and as Darryl came to meet us, we settled right in and had a wonderful time. There were tons of activities, Darryl gave us everything we needed to make an amazing fire, and we made fast friends with the adorable kittens roaming the land. Would 100% recommend.

What a nice place to visit! I had full hookups. Very reasonable price. This campground is in a beautiful valley. There is a natural spring running through. Wonderful, clear fresh water to drink.
There are very nice hiking trails that offer shady walks along the spring fed stream. Scenic trails also with gorgeous views!
There is a pond and a small lake that is like an oasis. It really is very peaceful and full of life.
Some may not appreciate the train traffic. We aren't bothered. It's just part of the character.
I'd say it's worth the trip.

My partner and I loved staying here for the night, Had everything we needed, was a great set up 🥰 If you love cats that’s a big bonus they’ve got plenty but one stuck out to us her name was Callie and she was so so beautiful and friendly! We’ll definitely remember her! Carol is a wonderful host too she came out and had a chat and was very open and welcoming 🫶🏼
