17 acres of land nestled at the base of Folding Mountain in the Rocky Mountains. Newly renovated. Onsite groceries & movie rentals. Firewood is for sale in our Ranger Station/Office.
We do have a WIFI hotspot but we are located in the mountains and service is very unstable and slow. Please plan accordingly. The nearest stable internet is a 10 minute drive to the Town of Hinton at the Tourist Information Centre located at 309 Gregg Avenue.
We are not located in Jasper, we are a 60km drive from the Town of Jasper. Hinton is 18km and is the nearest town to us.

Camp amongst the trembling aspen trees on our 5 acre property, just a few minutes east of Hinton, Alberta. Hiking and mountain biking opportunities abound! Nearby Jasper National Park makes an excellent day trip. For history buffs, our property is located between two former transportation corridors: the original Trans Canada highway and the Canadian Northern Railway. Explorer David Thompson led his expedition through this area in the 19th century. Coal mining history surrounds our town and county- many days can be spend exploring the ghosts of the Alberta Coal Branch! This site includes a fire ring, picnic table and a 15A electric hookup. Enjoy our two rescued historic transit coaches! Edmonton Transit 429 and Thiessen 19 originally from Winnipeg! They arrived in 2024 and 2025 respectively, and their resurrection is ongoing. Both attend car club events regularly. Also onsite are chickens, ducks, and geese, which enjoy visitors!

Our stay was so relaxing... perfect for somewhere quiet away from the hustle and bustle, and still close enough to Hinton Town with lots of amenities (fuel, supermarkets, clothes stores, restaurants Canadian tire). Beautiful semi rural setting with forest backdrop across the field, and mountains in the far distance, & stunning drive down to Jasper through the mountains. Lovely large camp spot next to the main house, surrounded by aspen trees. Nice pit available which is always a big bonus! Chickens and geese 10 meters from the site. Hosts were as friendly, welcoming, and accommodating as could be. Had a beer with Adrian while he showed us round his vintage buses! Would definitely stay here again.

Adrian’s land was a little pocket of peace. We found it very easily and Adrian came out to greet us when we arrived. Overall we felt very welcomed and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommend 😊

Adrian met us as we pulled in and told us we were at the right spot. He showed us where we could park and told us the grassy area was ours to use. He offered us whatever we needed to make our stay pleasant. Later in the evening he and his son had to move the ducks and goose to the barn. They checked with us to make sure we were ok with that. Afterwards we had a great visit with both of them. The place was very relaxing. Definitely a great host and a great place to stay.

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay on Adrian’s land. Adrian and his family made us feel very welcome. We loved seeing them round up the ducks and geese each evening, and even got to hold some recently hatched baby ducks. We purchased fresh chicken eggs which were delicious and dry firewood that allowed us to have a wonderful fire one evening. Great communication from host, easy parking with private space and conveniently located close to Jasper National Park. Highly recommend!

This was a nice overnight spot for what I needed. Adrian was great with communication. I came through the same time as the Jasper NP fire and he updated me a couple times to make sure I could get to his place. He was also flexible in a parking spot as it’s started to rain heavy. I had trouble connecting to his WiFi, sent him a text and he had one of his kids come out immediately to help and got it going. Great host, nice spot, and I certainly recommend.

Adrian has a huge, beautiful yard and allows for RV parking to enjoy it. The lawn was lush, the tall cottonwoods provided nice shade to enjoy relaxing there.

We had a great stay at Adrian’s place. It was quiet and well equipped with a picnic table, fire ring, and a electrical cord to charge our batteries. They are a very nice family, we enjoyed talking for a bit. (Our pets really enjoyed the attention)
