Magical fairy glen on the creek
This place is one of a kind. It’s actually worth the price for the privacy, the hot springs, trails and super special creekside campsites. We loved every moment of it.

Beautiful, serene and quiet spot. All you can hear is the river. The water is crystal clear. Big open meadow for group camping and lots of trails throughout the camping areas. Nice composting toilets

Beautiful camp site with a peaceful stream to lull you to sleep at night. The hot springs are just a 15 min walk from the site and well worth the rocky trek. Highly recommend.

Such a beautiful spot, right on the river with the sound of rushing water serenading us all night. Roomy campsite felt fairly private. And probably the nicest composting toilets I have ever used! Hot springs were perfection =) This land is a special place.

Lovely camp site
We really liked our spot, it was beautiful and peaceful. There were no other campers in the campground the day we were there so we got the whole place to ourselves which was a treat. I think the prices are expensive for what it is, but we enjoyed it.

This tiny house is beautiful and well-designed. The wilderness surrounding was ideal. The composting toilet, truly, was awesome and not the slightest bit stinky. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Perfect Camping Spot
What a beautiful spot to pitch a tent! I had a wonderful time staying by the river and absolutely loved the swings. This spot is a 10/10. The land was breathtaking, the water was cool on a hot day, and the campsite was clean and very well maintained. Can’t recommend enough!

ATV & river camp with a hot spring
We love the space; the privacy and cleanliness and access to nature. The hosts are real conservationists; allowing these lands to be enjoyed for many years. The hot spring is nice. The OHV trials are fun also.

Sleep to the sounds of Little Wind
Eagle's Nest camp site was fantastic. We had one last night left on our trip and we enjoyed spending it along the river. The site is secluded and a fun hike to get to. We appreciated the chairs and tables in the site as well. Definitely would come back again.

Truly magical forest!
The first time I came the hope of hot springs is what pulled me here (and yes, they’re wonderful), but the reason I keep coming back is cause the forest and creek are truly magical. One time I saw a bald eagle and some other bird twice it’s size flying together. There are swings to discover and the trail work winds through with so many special touches. Oh and stars! Just the perfect place to tap in and realign. Thank you!

Pros and Cons
Pros:
*Loved the spot by the creek, soothing gurgles, peaceful nature time.
*Trails thru the whole camp were fun to explore.
*Great feasting on blackberries.
*Privacy as sites have distance between.
Cons:
*Not as quiet as we expected, as we heard trains, trucks (rte 14), even planes heading for PDX on the flight path.
*It’d be nice if there was a picnic table.
*The platform in host’s picture nothing like the one there which is falling apart and maybe dangerous to step on, let alone camp on, and it’s above the actual camping site by the road.
*Finding and using the hot springs were unfortunately not easy for us.
Difficult to get to over big jagged rocks for at least 20-25 min. and too hot to get into. Didn’t make it to the last tub as too far out on the difficult hike.
Overall: Based on the hundred dollar a night fee, it did not meet our expectations.

Cedar Grove
This spot was great for a weekend away! I would come back again.
Pros: Prompt communication with the camp host, a beautiful creekside camping location and a walk in that wasn’t far. The portapotty wasn’t far away either (basically just beyond where you park) and it was clean.
Cons: We chose this site because it was private; while others (eg, the meadow) mentioned foot traffic in their description, this one did not. However, we had an altercation with a large group of men who came down the steep hill backing the site and into our tent area, declining to move on quickly despite our dogs barking and a polite request for them to move to the actual trail or road so our dogs could relax. They partied nearby then came back, and when asked if they could use the trail/road they became aggressive and vulgar, called us names/profanities and continued through our tent area again, saying they were headed to their Airbnb.
The site host was very prompt responding when we alerted him, and he told us the site was indeed meant to be private and no one should come directly through it. However, the Airbnb listing currently says its guests “have access to trails that lead to a river, beach, and hiking trails among the trees. These trails are also shared with a few private camp sites” — so others may also find that Airbnb users pass through the tent area, unless signage is improved and rules clarified. Hopefully if that happens they’ll be kinder/more respectful than these guys were!
