I absolutely love this place, very peaceful. Unfortunately, due to weather, had to cut the trip short. Will definitely be returning when the weather gets nicer!

Loved the space and ability to explore and camp where we wanted to! There are a variety of areas with fire rings and clearings to set up camp but even in my Prius I had no issues accessing any part of the property. The cedar outhouse is phenomenal! Seriously it’s the nicest outhouse I’ve ever had the please of using lol. The available map was helpful to orient myself when I arrived. We enjoyed seeing lots of wildlife (deer, hogs, birds, etc) horses were in the front pasture as we drove in. My dogs loved exploring the property! There were a couple other campers we saw in the distance but there was more than enough room to spread out and have privacy. It was a great place to stop on our roadtrip.

Easy to find, wide open spaces, plentiful wildlife, plenty of privacy. For me, I honestly don't think I could have asked for more. This is a great spot, you won't regret staying here. I'm already wanting to be back!

Jody's hideaway was a great spot. Easy to find. Gate has a clear sign on it. Just inside the gate is a mailbox with a nice handrawn map of the property for reference. You're free to camp anywhere, but if you go to the back section where the wooded area is are several spots to camp. Campers are free to explore anywhere and even drive the property, just stay on the perimeter of the hay fields. I definitely recommend this hipcamp.

I thought it was an exceptional piece of Texas land. There are many places to choose from. Reception is good in case of emergency. Lots of dead wood for fire wood. The hardest part was getting to the destination ( shouldn’t have been that hard 😂 ). Very drivable car paths. Very clean out house. It is remote enough to forget about the outside world. Really fun if you’re getting into a camping. Michael is a fantastic host. Would 1000% recommend. Perfect for practicing my One Piece impressions. Everyone should watch One Piece.

Beautiful! Got to wake up and take our dogs for a walk exploring the land and they found a the best place to have fun, get muddy and rest!

This was an easily accessible location with a wide area to choose to camp. Probably the best outhouse I have ever seen, and quiet and secluded enough. I only saw one other vehicle come in the entire time. Probably campers as well, but the area was so big I never saw them again. Highly recommended. Manageable AT&T signal, spotty T-Mobile signal for data. Calls go through fine. Lots of deer running around in the early morning towards the front of the property near the oil wells. Highly recommended.

We loved the place, had it to ourselves for the weekend. There are a number of nice and useable sites. We will go back again. We read there was an awesome outhouse. It was the best outhouse I’ve visited in 45 years of camping! What a hoot. Beautiful spot truly.

Camping on a farm! One side, where you don’t want to camp, is a cow pasture. The other side through the cattle guard is an open field / hay pasture with dense woods around. Lots of game trails passing through along with one dirt road that follows the property perimeter. Some camping in the woods near the dirt road, the rest, in our opinion, around the hay field.
Super easy to find. Host was great to communicate with via app. Map provided once you drive through gate. Plenty of deer, cows mooing, coyotes howling at night, wild pigs snorting in the dark night distance and armadillo running around.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay escaping city living for a weekend.

Absolutely beautiful property! It's a "choose your own adventure" experience. You can take the family car on nicely groomed dirt roads and set up a family friendly campsite, or you can drive off the beaten path and do some fun off-roading in the backwoods trails with your 4x4 which will reward you with some absolute gems of quiet and remote places to set camp. There could easily be a dozen different groups camping and you'd ever see or hear each other. All 3 major carriers (ATT, TMO, VZN) have usable LTE/5G service which is a huge bonus.

Michael was very helpful when I couldn’t quite find the path in and was super friendly. The property was beautiful and me and my son had a blast camping out next to the cows. Would absolutely come back.
