Primitive Camping <3
Great primitive campsite! The trails to the falls are only half a mile from them, there’s intermediate trails and ones for those more experienced. Peaceful area, low populated and beautifully preserved. Also the cell service was great and the bath house was very clean.

Fantastic stay!
We have a tent that goes on the back of our truck. We particularly loved that we could set that up when we arrived and didn’t have to take it back down until we left. The hiking trails were fantastic and within walking distance of our campsite. The amenities were clean and the hosts were helpful and friendly.

Cozy Campground
Very cozy and clean! Easy to find and not far from many trails. The staff was very helpful and friendly. This was one of the first camp grounds that we actually hung out at. We will definitely be back.

Cozy spot!
It was a nice cozy spot. I really liked the walkway to your tent site. I also liked that there was a bathhouse on premise and portable water. The location is well within walking distance to Greeter Falls. 10/10 would camp here again!

It was closer to others than I thought it would be but still a great experience. You still have a lot of room. It’s definitely not like campgrounds that feel like parking lots. Camp goats were a very cool younger couple. Walking distance to several hiking trails. Ten minutes from IMO the best option. The stone door trail. We’ll camp here again

Furnished Yurt- 13' Bell Tent
Great community campsite with lots of options. Yurt/glamping was easy and excellent. Setup, beds and sleeping bags, and fire pit all ready for us!
Bathhouse and amenities a quick walk away and incredibly close to Greeter falls trailhead and all the fun we came down for.
Helpful and present staff and an overall great experience!

Fun girls weekend
We had such an amazing time at the yurts. 6 girls in all, we all felt very safe and looked after. The staff was INCREDIBLE and did everything to make our time there comfortable & fun. We will definitely be going back!!

Trix and the gang were very accommodating and very friendly. The spots were spread out nicely and wooded and the bathhouse was super clean with really hot water. The trailhead was a very short hike down the road! Excellent place!!!

I was in the area for business and only used the site as a place to sleep, but felt right at home and would’ve loved to spend more time on the site. Strings & Trix were exceptionally sweet and light the place up with their energy, and it feels like you’re in deep woods even though you’re near roads, amenities, and other campsites. Greeter Falls is also a great short hike, with options to go further to more falls that I wish I’d had time to take. I hope to be back some day.

BEST CAMPSITE
I HIGHLY recommend!
- This was my first camping trip and I was so impressed with this place!
- When we arrived, it was very easy to find the place. We went to the front welcome center and the girl who checked us in was so sweet and friendly. She explained everything and gave us a little magnet souvenir and map!
- The bathhouse was also at the welcome area and there were a few stalls with toilets and showers and sinks with mirrors. The bathhouse was very clean and required a code so only guests could use it.
- our campsite was right across the street. There was parking and all of the sites were in a row but there were trees in between each site and they each were down their own little path for privacy.
- the site had room for a tent, and had a fire pit with a grill and a little hay bale bench.
- we had purchased firewood for 5$ when we reserved the spot which was perfect and just enough to have a fire for s'mores and hot dogs. We had to add in some twigs to get it going though of course.
- The site had our initials and dates and everything on a little sign on the tree so it was easy to see which spot was ours.
- it was very quiet and safe!
- the greeter falls waterfall was amazing!!
-I would definitely come back here. It was extremely simple to access and book. The camp was clean and very nice for first time campers especially and the office/welcome center is open until 9pm making it easy to checkin whenever you arrive!

Location is close to waterfalls and some other cool places like stone door
The only bad thing for my primitive camping site was Not being able to back up my vehicle to site so you have to carry everything to your site .

Absolutely loved camping at Greeter Falls Campground. It was beautiful and plenty quiet. Even if there’s several people camping on a loop they spread you out so you have space. The camp hosts were some of the nicest people I’ve ever met. The hikes nearby were wonderful as well. Absolutely recommend.

Hidden Gem
This is a great privately owned campground. The sites and electrical pedestals are brand new, bathrooms/showers are super clean, and the campground is in walking distance to some epic swimming holes and waterfalls. The hosts are friendly and attentive. 10/10 service. Make sure you play the washer toss game while you enjoy a frosty beverage of your choice. Would definitely stay here again.

The campground was amazing for a private campground. Camp area was under beautiful canopy of trees. Showers were super clean. Campgrounds were very clean. Hosts were incredibly nice! As long as you check your campsite dimensions before you come, you’ll be a happy camper. 0.5 mile walk to the greeter falls trailhead.

All around great experience. Needed a little more than what we asked for and they were very happy to comply. Not a camp ground where you are almost touching the neighbors ( more primitive)and well taken care of. And if any services were needed they were on top of it. Clean bath houses. Didn’t ask if they sprayed for Misquito but didn’t have any issues with them. Very close to hiking trails water falls and swimming hole. Very pleased we will visit again.

Your next favorite camp spot!!
Such a great campground! Spacious and woodsy with still great comfort and amenities. There was an activity cabin and enclosed sand pit the kids loved and a short walk to beautiful waterfalls, rock views, and swimming holes. Thankyou Greeter Falls Campground! We will absolutely be back.
