Wildwood Cottage sits on 6.5 acres overlooking Otonabee River. In the spring summer and fall we have 6 cottages and 2 bunkies. November to April we keep 3 cottages open with hot tubs and wood burning fireplaces. You can watch the birds off your porch, go for a swim at the beach, use a complementary canoe or even rent a boat or seadoo to explore farther! In the summer months we offer a swimming area equipped with kayaks and water inflatables. In the winter, there is a skating rink when the weather permits! Generally Jan & Feb. Dec and Mar the weather sometimes is not cold enough. One of the best things to do any season - sit at your own fire pit and enjoy the clear sky full of stars while listening to the sounds of natures. We are also pet friendly!

This bunkie is completely off the grid and is apart of a small cottage resort called Wildwood! There is a solar powered generator for necessities - light, charging your devices etc. Bring your own flashlight and cooler! Your own fire pit out back and a BBQ for cooking. The double bed is up the ladder in the loft. Please bring your own linens - the bed has a mattress protector and two pillows. Think camping but comfier :) Glamping! Enjoy the noises of nature beside the fire or wander to the beach to use a kayak, canoe or SUP. There is a washroom for your use (with a shower) beside the office as well! Must be able to climb up stairs to get to the office. Max capacity is 2 people Add a fishing boat rental to your bunkie to explore the water! Plus free use of all non motorized water equipment - kayaks, canoe, water toys! Adults only (not suitable for children or pets due to the ladder) No visitors please. You can unload close to bunkie but must park in the additional parking area up top please.

Looking for a cozy and romantic getaway? Look no further than our charming cottage overlooking the river! Breathtaking views of the water and the surrounding forest, offering a truly idyllic escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Enjoy all of the amenity's including BBQ, Fire Pit (wood not included), Indoor fireplace (wood provided during winter), a Hot Tub (Thanksgiving weekend to May 15), free use of non motorized water equipment and ice rink in the winter (weather dependent) NEW IN 2022 - WOOD BURNING FIREPLACE - we provide one tote of wood per night for the indoor fireplace. The skating rink is available when weather permits! Generally Jan & Feb. Dec and Mar the weather generally is not cold enough. We do not provide linens - the beds will have mattress protectors, pillows and pillow protectors that are changed between each guest. There is a queen, double and single. Perfect for 2 - 4 guests including children. Our township has rules regarding occupancy so we cannot allow more than 4 guests. We do have a larger cottage that holds 6 people so reach out to us if needing more space! Note we do have AC but it is an extra cost - you will be required to sign an agreement with the owner to ensure you understand how to operate. Extra cost will be based on number of days you are wanting to use it.

We loved the place, it is not crowded you can enjoy your privacy. Great free amenities accustomed with well customer service! Will definitely recommend and planning to try their boat rental in the future.

What a great spot for a getaway! We stayed in a bunkie in Wildwood Cottages and it was so comfortable. Great amenities to make you feel comfortable and some great water equipment to enjoy a paddle or swim out on the water. Would definitely recommend!

Wildwood cottages hosted by Rebecca were amazing! We stayed in a bunkie and it was perfect for two people. Super clean and comfortable. There is lots to do from swimming at the beach, going out on the water in a kayak or canoe. Honestly, no complaints at all about our stay at wildwood and would highly recommend to anyone who is looking to get out by the water. Rebecca was a great host and easy to communicate with and answer any questions that we had!

It’s a nice place to chill out with you friend or partner, has a small backyard to enjoy the fire pit and a grill available to BBQ and there also some water activities available to have fun around. It’s a quite place to calm yourself and soothes your mental health.

If your looking for fun , go here , if your looking for the mazing couple that runs this place ,go their . The bunk cabins are the cutest well thought out layout , clean, good size and the fire pit and BBQ that are at your use . They have boat rentals , picnics tables , comfortable chairs . 2 bedroom and three bedroom cabins , hot tubs . And no cost to have a shower. The young lady Rebecca was amazing , polite friendly accommodating her husband was great too he'd give you a hand when you needed it without even asking . The child is learning the business , he is great, polite ,knows how to work the cash . You will find that this secluded camp has everything and more , the campers are friendly . Rice Lake fishing . Many returning campers every yr . Go check it out , I will be a returning every yr . Thanks to Rebecca and family for the awesome experience.
