Our land is over 5 acres, with 3 acres of majestic red pine plantation guiding your path as you arrive at the heart of the property, nestled beside a spring-fed lake and sandy beach. The red pine—celebrated in Eastern traditions as the tree of immortality—is a living symbol of resilience, vitality, and grace. Standing tall through every season, even the harshest winters, these trees whisper stories of perseverance and strength. Their red spirit carries prosperity, joy, and good fortune, blessing all who walk among them. Here, you’re invited to wander mossy paths, rest upon ancient calcite rocks, and practice forest bathing—hugging, walking, or simply breathing with the pines as their energy flows through you. Each moment among them is an invitation to ground yourself, open your heart, and welcome abundance. Beyond the pines, the land opens into a living tapestry of Birch, Maple, Poplar, White Pine, Oak, and more. A part of the forest was once dense with red pine; however the grounds now flourish as a healing permaculture garden, bursting with wildflowers and medicinal plants from spring to fall. By the water, time slows. You can sit on the dock or beach, swim in the pure spring-fed lake, and let the water wash away what no longer serves you—returning you to joy, clarity, and peace. Winter at the Sanctuary In winter, the land becomes a peaceful, snow-covered haven. The spring-fed lake transforms into a natural ice rink for outdoor skating, while the red pine forest invites quiet snowshoe journeys through still, snow-laden paths. Breathe in the crisp air, move gently with the season, and experience the deep calm and grounding that winter offers. Nature rests—but its medicine remains. This is not just land. This is a sanctuary where nature nurtures you back to yourself.Site is available for guests to bring their own tent and pitch it for your stay. (During Winter - Snowshoes are available for rent) Located in Bancroft, the Mineral Capital of Canada, the site is uniquely set between a crystal-clear spring-fed lake and a pristine forest. This rare setting offers the best of both worlds - open lakeside views paired with the quiet embrace of towering trees - creating a peaceful, high-vibration retreat surrounded by some of Ontario’s most beautiful and energetically rich landscapes. Only 15 minutes away from the main town with restaurants and groceries. Guests enjoy a generously sized, private site designed for comfort and ease, offering plenty of space to relax, unwind, and fully immerse themselves in the natural surroundings. The site feels secluded and serene, yet thoughtfully connected to all amenities for a seamless stay. Located in part of our forest we call the Wild Village which is also lit up at night with solar lights. A short, easy walk leads guests to a full bathroom equipped with a hot shower, toilet, sink, laundry facilities, and a mini fridge, making longer stays especially comfortable while maintaining a refined outdoor experience. The site is located directly on the lake, offering beautiful views and immediate access to year-round activities. In warmer months, guests can enjoy peaceful lakeside walks and time by the water. During winter, the lake freezes over, transforming into a natural playground for snowshoeing, ice skating, and cross-country skiing as well as the forest for snowshoeing. Surrounding forest trails invite guests to wander through the woods for quiet walks, nature exploration, and seasonal foraging. Activities are accessible right from the site, encouraging a slow, luxurious connection to the land - where everything you need is within walking distance, yet the experience feels expansive, private, and deeply restorative. At night the site is lit up and leading to the bathroom facilities is lit up for safety and comfort.
