This listing is very misleading and in some instances flat outlying. The dome was wet, dirty and mouldy. Our clothes and shoes got wet over night from the ceiling dripping, and there were puddles of water on the floor on arrival. There is a second layer of flooring on top of the actual floor to help keep your feet dry. The lights inside kept flickering. The lights outside we couldn't turn off, we had to walk to disconnect the power cord outside to avoid blaring light through the door. We went on Nov and it was cold. The heater was propane, so we had to keep the windows open which made it colder, but worse is that there was no carbon monoxide detector, so we were nervous the whole time. We brought our own wood, and it's a good thing - the wood that was there was wet and half burned, you could tell had been sitting around for a while. The fire pit was literal garbage, holes all in it. I'm amazed our wood didn't fall right through. The bbq didn't work, and it was far away, so we had to cook our food over the fire. The property was full of trash and it looked very messy. The sauna was so far away, and there were not a lot of details on how to make a fire to get it working, and in the cooler months you have no place to shower, unless it's outside, so that's not a selling feature here at all. It's situated right off a busy road, so we heard traffic, and a lot of loud airplane traffic overhead, all night. This place was a nice idea, but very poorly executed on all fronts. Avoid.

Beautiful structure near the creek. Big ol raft in the water with a ZIIIIPPLLLLIIIINNNEE that was much enjoyed

We had a lovely time in the Igloo. The location is beautiful and the water was clean and swimmable. The zip line and the slide were pretty fun too. We oiled have loved if the toilet was not beside the bed, it doesn’t smell lovely while in bed. Nonetheless we had a lovely time. Cleaning guy crept up on us before 11 am check out and scared the bejesus out of us. Maybe coming after 11 am would be a nice touch. The sound of the river while sleeping was a plus ! Bring a fan if you are visiting in the summer it is hot. The sauna is lovely and close to the water so you can plunge when it’s hot;)

Cute concept and lovely property. Note that the gps didn’t work well and most of the area close by doesn’t have stable cellular data so be sure to read directions and address beforehand.

We had an amazing time at the Uxbridge igloo this summer. Our favourite part was the personal "lake" on the property that was perfect for swimming and cooling off after a hot day. They had a full BBQ and blackstone for cooking. The sauna looked cool but we never used it. Igloo itself is very nice, definition of glamping. Only issues were that the igloo gets really hot in the summer, bring a fan or two cause the A/C doesn't work. There also wasn't any utensils for cooking but they had everything else - working toilet, toiletries, blankets, pillows, towels, etc. We will definitely be back soon!!

Our stay was amazing. Naithan and his family were all very helpful. Any issues we had, they took care of it right away. Would definitely recommend. The sauna was a great addition.

I recently stayed at the Uxbridge Igloo with my girlfriend and unfortunately, our experience was marred by a series of issues. Upon arrival, we were dismayed to find that our dome wasn't cleaned and the bed wasn't made, with the owner apologizing that the cleaning person had forgotten about our booking. To make matters worse, our check-in time was delayed until 6 pm, four hours later than expected. Additionally, the wood for the bonfire was wet due to the rain and hadn't been covered, making it unusable. To top it all off, the heater stopped working in the middle of the night, leaving us shivering with cold. Despite the igloo's unique charm, these issues made for an uncomfortable and disappointing stay.

It was my husband's special birthday surprise. We loved that it was secluded, peaceful and we'll prepared before our arrival. Host sent a.message with all details mentioned, firepit and sauna were ready to use, beautiful lake and river, we walked on trail, had a very lovely getaway and it's not so far from the city. Nice comfy bed with lots of blankets and pillows.

Awesome facilities, the igloo was complete with all the necessities and had board games. Host was quick to respond and provided very clear instructions. Sauna was a very nice touch to end the trip in the cool autumn weather

We had a fantastic time in the igloo. It was a beautiful site and the igloo felt very luxury. The wood fired sauna under the stars was a real highlight and a lovely memory we will cherish

This place was absolutely perfect. Great accommodation, great location and great hosts. Our dogs loved being off leash and swimming in the lake. Felt very private and secluded. Would highly recommend.

Amazing location with everything you need to have a fun relaxing weekend. The bed in the igloo is very comfy. The igloo is much more spacious than I expected with lots of thoughtful touches. The forested area around it was very nice. The sauna and lake combination was amazing! There’s also tons of water toys and things to do, we had a blast!
We were also very lucky to meet and spend time with the owners, they were very fun and kind. We will be coming back again guaranteed!

It’s a perfect place to enjoy for couples. Hopefully with my gf next time. I loved the reflections of the moon over the lake, the sauna fire pit and everything else. Just lovely ! It’s private and you feel so comfortable. Naithan and his sweet wife are very considerate and made sure we enjoyed our stay. Definitely recommended! I’m hoping to make another trip 🙏🏻 Thank you for everything Naithan&Mariam 🌸❤️

Awesome little spot. Feels super private and special. Naithan was super responsive to any questions. The pictures don’t do this place justice, it is great. The main house was rented when we were there, to a great group, I guess the sharing of property could vary if you’re stuck with a not so great group. Slight car noise at the site, but at night in the igloo you can’t hear anything. Beautiful getaway from the city. We’ll be back!

We loved the igloo experience at Nathan’s place! It was well kept, lovely little touches everywhere. The dome was perfect and the privacy was everything- it’s a little pocket of peace with the basic conveniences. The swimming hole was perfect, calm and clean. We didn’t use the sauna (was HOT out!). Naithan was a great host, very kind and responsive. Will be back for sure 💜

We had a lovely time at the igloo. The only thing I wished we did differently was stay more than one night. Lots of information was provided by Naithan to make our stay easy. It was such a nice property and had lots of space for us. Loved that there was games provided in the igloo. We had tons of fun and hope to return again.

Naithan is a fantastic host and provides his guests with an incredibly unique and private experience. The igloo is very cozy and clean. Naithan had the fire pit and sauna ready to go with fire starters and wood which made for a smooth and stress free stay. Highly recommend. 10/10
