Enjoy, canoeing, fly-fishing and even a bit of swimming with private ravine access and dock access across the street for small boats or canoes. There is also a small pit for bonfires. Land can be used for camping either with tents, trailer or an RV. Depending on the time of year, citronella candles are recommended to keep mosquitoes away. These along with various other camping supplies and food can be purchased at a convenience store located 10 mins drive away and open until 8:00pm daily. Land can be used for camping either with tents (2 large tents max), trailer or a small to mid size RV. Pleae note that there are no bathroom amenities here, Guests will need to be self contained, take waste with them and leave no trace. Beautiful Area; Questionable Host

Ravine chutes getaway

I would like to begin by saying that this is a beautiful area to camp and explore. We spent our days out on the water in the kayak, swimming, fishing and exploring. Lovely view of the chutes to have coffee to in the morning, and fairly private. Neighbours we met were quite friendly as well. Some cons: We showed up to a fairly small site in the woods with garbage everywhere including broken glass, poopy toilet paper and used latex gloves next to the fire pit that were a little concerning to see. As lovers of the outdoors, we picked up all the garbage as we believe in leaving no trace. Additionally, I should add that I messaged this host several weeks before our vacation to ask a question about our stay and never got a response. This, on top of the unmaintained camp site and lack of site photos left us feeling like this host is more concerned with collecting the cash for the rental than with making sure his guests enjoy their stay. Overall, we did have a lovely time and the area was very picturesque. Would we return? Perhaps, but would prefer to give our money to a host that is more engaged.
