My husband and I came here for our first wedding anniversary. We had an amazing time! Choleena and Larry were the perfect hosts- super helpful, non-intrusive and even told us we could check out at anytime on our last day. The cabin was also great, very clean and well taken care of. Super close to Perth which is a very charming town. We would certainly love to return!

This weekend was absolutely one of the most enjoyable weekends of my summer. It was so nice to unplug, Choleena & Larry ordered and set up an alternative to being able to have a fire during the ban, which was amazing, and it was so private and peaceful. I feel very refreshed and we certainly discussed coming back in the winter to further enjoy what the land has to offer. Not the mention the hosts are very thoughtful and ready to help. Thank you and cannot wait to return!

This was a great experience. Choleena and Larry were wonderful. The site is fully equipped so that it provides a full outdoor camping out feeling with all the comfort of cabin living. Site was clean and well organized and we had so much fun. Cooking, lounging and star gazing by the fire is a true relaxation. Would highly recommend.

Exactly what we were looking for. Very private. The cabin/bed area was perfect for the two of us. Wooden bundles were already ready for us at the fire pit. Had a covered area to sit at while it rained and we played some games there. Bbq and stove are perfect to cook with. We had a perfect few days at the cabin. Host are very kind and have thought of everything you need and it’s all available for use in the cabin. We will be back.

Choleena & Larry are fantastic hosts! Their property is amazing, welcoming & has everything you could need or want.
We were greeted just as we pulled into the driveway by Larry. He lead us up to the campsite in our vehicle, its an easy & beautiful drive through their property.
Everything in the campsite is labeled & there is a great manual that shows you where everything is and how to use it. A great amount of time & care has done into setting up this Glamping site & it shows!
We'll definitely be back to camp here again. Thanks a tonne Choleena & Larry

Just got back from the most peaceful getaway hosted by the lovely Chloeena and Larry — and wow, they’ve truly thought of everything! The cabin, the outhouse, the shower… every detail is so well designed and blends right into the natural beauty around you.
If you're craving a break from the buzz of daily life, this is the spot to disconnect and soak in the sounds of nature (birds chirping included — free of charge!). It’s the kind of place where your phone takes a backseat, but you still get just enough Rogers signal to check the basics and avoid full-on digital withdrawal. No doomscrolling here — just de-stressing.
Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind, unplug, and enjoy a little peace and quiet with a side of fresh air and forest magic.

I've gone twice so far this year and each stay was peaceful release of any anxiety that traveled with me. Within hours problems had faded and I was captivated by the simple tasks like making lunch or placing wood for the nights perfect fire. It may sound over the top but each visit was soul refreshing, a mystery smile carried for weeks after returning home. Choleena and Larry are people you are fortunate to meet. I have been there, I have met them and the mysterious smile won't go away.

We had an amazing time at this cabin and property. We really enjoyed the peace and tranquility and loved the seclusion and large space to walk around during the day and stare up at the stars at night. Choleena and Larry were excellent hosts; communication and information were fantastic and everything at the site was spotless and exactly as described. The covered gazebo areas are great for prep/cooking or for chilling out if there happens to be rain. We purchased firewood and it was excellent - dry and really nice wood. BBQ was a bonus. Cabin is really cute and cozy.

If you desire a secluded place that lends itself to introspection and an invitation to to explore a natural environment then this place is calling your name. I left after being there a mere two days, not wanting to go and planning my my return as I drove the lane out. I could write words that would sound as though written by marketing agents, shiny glowing phrases designed to grab your attention and spur your desire to visit this camp. Everything I would write be true but sounding so exaggerated as to be untrue. The problem is my description would be true,
I loved every minute I was there. The solitude, the quiet, the peace that comes from being left to ones self, but most of all the quiet. All amenities were carefully in place and within minutes of arrival I was immersed in the zone I longed for, solitude with enough amenities at my disposal to achieve what I wanted, peace and tranquility with enough creature comforts to allow that to happen without much forward planning and thought, All boxes checked, all details addressed to the point where I would ask for nothing more. Too glowing a review you might say. I say no. I left that sated that I didn't want to leave and as I drive way my thoughts were only focused on when I could arrange my return. These words I have just written are true. If you attend I now that you will concur. I say go. Prove me wrong. I doubt you can.

Choleena and Larry's place is a beautiful and peaceful place for anyone looking to recharge, away from all the noise. They were outstanding hosts that thought about absolutely everything to make the place cozy and easy to live in. We had a very comfortable experience and didn't need anything that wasn't already available to us.
We could tell that a lot of thought and love was put into the place. Would come back again in a heartbeat! Thank you!

It was very beautiful place. Lots of privacy, enough space for group. It has everything you need for get away with your friends, family or partner. I loved it staying there for couple days and already planning on going back. Host was very nice, friendly and welcoming as well. Thanks for hosting us.

We loved spending our time here. Cabin was very cozy, shower was easy to use, there was a bundle of wood prepared by the firepit, property was very secluded with the pond only a 5 minute walk away. We even received some complimentary sauces courtesy of the hosts, they were very delicious. As we're from the city, hearing nothing but the soft rustle of the leaves with the birds chirping in the background was very meditative and peaceful.
Overall, we loved how inclusive the experience was and how every detail was thought out, it made for a very delightful time.

We had a lovely weekend on their space, and also we tried some artesanal goddies that they produce there, and was so good! The sky there it is so fascinating when dark, everything was thought carefully to have a great experience.

Glamping - Intimate Cabin & Campsites
We had such a great stay at the cabin! We had fun walking down the trail with solar powered lights so we don’t lose our way and where you can go to the pond. The cabin is so cozy and has games to play inside in case when it rains or when it’s cold some nights. There were very little we had to pack for this trip since Choleena has literally everything you could possibly need (plates, cutlery, bowls, etc…). Highly recommend reading the binder provided inside the cabin to be able to make full use of the cabin and everything else the space has to offer! The hosts were amazing and responded to all questions right away and showed us where things are located. The cabin is an awesome place to stay, highly recommend!

We had an incredible night at Choleena and Larry's site! The cabin is situated perfectly on the property, with plenty of open space to explore and for any of the lawn games they have for guests. We spent our entire morning exploring the property through the well marked trails within the property. Having firewood available for purchase on site was a huge bonus too, as we did a lot of cooking on the fire-pit and grill. The outdoor shower was fantastic too, and was much needed after some time in the woods. We couldn't recommend this place enough, its a beautiful well kept property that we hope to come back to soon.

Every detail was well laid out and the place was clean. Everything was private and serene; we especially loved the trails and the beautiful pond in the back. It's been 2 decades since my parents have camped and this has inspired them to glamp again!

We loved the glamping cabin, the beautiful scenery and the friendly service. Projector and shaded gazebo was an amazing experience as well as the liberating outdoor shower. Will for 100% be back! Friends are already quite envious of our experience 😏😎

It was a well needed break and C & L’s camp site was the perfect place for it. Perfect getaway for couples, maybe a group. C & L are great hosts they were responsive and shared all information before our stay.
Larry also helped us setup the campfire for the first time.
I would highly recommend this place.

Choleena and her partner were amazing hosts. They gave clear and helpful verbal and written instructions/directions for our stay. They were available if we needed them, and left us to have our privacy.
The cabin was wonderful. We had everything we needed, and more. Their outhouse is the best smelling one I have ever been in.
They left us very thoughtful little treats, and the place was beautifully decorated.
The weather was very hot, so we weren't in the mood to take advantage of all the trails and amenities. However, we were very impressed with the strong little fan inside the cabin. It kept us very cool, when we slept.
The gazebos were so nice. We put the two hammocks in one of them, and relaxed with books and cards, for most of a day.
I would definitely recommend this beautiful getaway.

Everything was so perfect. The hosts were so accommodating and kind. The place is beautiful. So thoughtfully put together. It’s so private and yet they were available if we needed them. Everything is very well organized. We had such a beautiful two days and wish we could’ve stayed longer. The eggs are delicious and the preserves were such lovely touch. We will be back.

What a nice, secluded and relaxing cabin! The hosts provide a lot of the supplies and are reachable for any questions or additional needs. The site was very private, and the birdsong was incredible. I camped in summer so didn’t need heat even though the nights were cool. The two different gazebos were great outdoor shelters in the rain. A great retreat from everything. I’d like to try another visit in the fall I bet it’s beautiful with the colours…

This was our second time at this cabin and once again it was wonderful!
The hosts are helpful and super friendly. They don’t intrude on your alone time at the cabin but are available when you need them.
The cabin has everything you need for cooking, cleaning and sleeping. Glamping with style. Outdoor fire pit is so nice to hang around once the sun goes down. Will be back again next year.

We had a nice, relaxing weekend at the cabin. The only things we had to bring was food and our clothing. The cabin was quaint and was kept warm with a cute little woodstove that was easy to operate. There was a camp stove and fire pit for cooking. The outhouse was very clean. Larry and Choleena were there to meet us and we had great communication before and during our stay. They were quick to answer all our questions and to respond quickly when we couldn't find something at the cabin. They generously gave us some fresh eggs (thank you, hennies;)) and some other yummies! We could have stayed longer! The night skies were spectacular and there was lots of acreage to roam around. We would definately recommend this cabin!

We loved this spot and it exceeded our expectations. The cabin was tiny (as expected) but the outdoor area was unexpectedly huge. There were so many trippy little outdoor seating areas - if you wanted to sit in the sun, you could, or in the shade, or by the fire or in a hammock or on an outdoor couch. Lots of cooking options too (fire pit, camp stove, bbq), as well as lots of fun things to do. We watched birds (a pair of waxwings building a nest, gray jays, swans flying overhead, a raven, chickadees...), and we played Scrabble, Jenga and croquet. We went for a walk down to the old cemetery, which was cool. When it was super hot we napped in the hammocks, then then got up and cooled off in the outdoor shower. We saw shooting stars - what a gorgeous night sky. The location is absolutely secluded and private, but the hosts are down the road if you need them. Great place, and Choleena and Larry thought of everything to make life comfortable and convenient for their guests. The bed was super comfy and everything was clean, fresh and thoughtfully designed. (Thanks so much for the delicious homemade jams and jellies and the fresh eggs from your chickens!)
