A 5 minute gentle hike along the trail guides you to our forest opening to the river frontage, with a quaint bunkie cabin that sleeps up to 4 adults, has a screened-in "Yogazebo" and gazebo for "bug free" dining or simple enjoyment. 27 acres of hardwood forest await nature and animal lovers to experience the off-grid camping experience. For those that wish to add extra rejuvenation to their visit can book a private yoga class or 2 with an Experienced yoga teacher in our Yogazebo. We live in a densely forested area. Please be aware that bugs will be a part of that. That said, typically by the end of August and into September, bugs are much fewer. The rustic all wood and wool bunkie cabin sleeps up to 4 adults (2 double beds, 1 main floor (futon - couch/double bed) and 1 upper loft with ladder type steps). Outdoor shower and sink fed by a water catchment system for the outdoorsy type for clean up. Potable water will be supplied for drinking and cooking. The use of a yeti cooler is available, if campers need/request it. Basic kitchen stuff: plates, bowls, cups, utensils, along with a tea towel, washing cloth. Linens, pillows and extra blankets are provided. A small dining table with fold down side, 2 dining chairs. Our rustic, yet fabulous "5 Star Poop House" outhouse awaits you. It's clean, nicely decorated with twinkle lights and a great pine tar paint job. It boasts funny things to read while you visit and hopefully you enjoy it so much you leave your mark in the "poo review" guestbook. It's well stocked and now fully composting guest deposits. Large campfire put awaits your fire gazing, roasting mallows and music if you wish. Campfire wood can be provided (most often there is already a pile waiting to be burned from downed wood we have or scraps). The property is quiet and frequently visited by wildlife of all varieties. We welcome adults to stay, but please leave pets at home so as not to disturb our local wildlife, or our furry friends. A large fire pit, kayaks and a few yards games are available for use. We have a gazebo at the rivers edge that has open or closed screening, table and 6 chairs in the yard. Campers are also welcome to use the screened in "Yogazebo" for bug free relaxation, dining or maybe a game of cards. We are avid composters, gardeners so compost bin along with recycling bin and garbage bins will be provided.
