This location is excellent for exploring the area! Easy access to so many places. Sites are well spaced. This is not for those who truly want a wilderness experience. Hosts very friendly and responsive.

Chris and Leah are great! I loved kayaking on the river, so incredibly peaceful. I stayed one night but if I brought friends I would have utilized the fire pit outside the cabin. It’s 5-10 minutes away from very cute towns and restaurants.

My kids and I had an epic adventure camping here for the first time. The rope swing, trampoline raft, swimming and catching frogs were memorable highlights. We would definitely love to come stay here again! Thank you to the wonderful hosts.

The owners were incredibly friendly and helpful. The spot is beautifully secluded, offering a peaceful escape surrounded by nature. We loved the cute beach nearby and were thrilled to have watersport equipment available—it added so much fun to our stay. If you’re looking for a tranquil retreat with wonderful hosts, this is the place to be! We’ll definitely be back!

The site was really great! My friends and I are french speakers and the host was perfectly bilingual, so the communication was great! Also, because of the way that the sites were placed you still had your intimacy. Our tent site was the closest to the lake, and we didn't feel like their were too many mosquitos, it was great! Also, even if our site was geographically the furthest from the bathroom, it was only a really short walk to get there. At the lake, there were some equipment (kayaks, floating board, water trampoline and rope to jump in water) that we had a lot of fun with! The lifejackets are also provided. We bought wood from Leah and Chris on site, and they even brought it directly to our site with their trailer which was really nice of them! Only negative point is that we're pretty close from the highway, and that we can hear pretty clearly the noises of the circulation from time to time from our site. Other than that, everything was perfect and my girlfriends and I had a blast! Would definitly recommend!

Amazing!!

Our stay at this campground was absolutely incredible! From the moment we arrived, we knew we were in for something special. We were taken to our campsite by a quad with a trailer, which was such a unique and exciting way to start our adventure. The owners are incredibly sweet, and the campsite itself is stunning, nestled right in the middle of the forest. The shower facilities were great, but the highlight of our stay was definitely the private beach area. The water trampoline and kayaks made for endless fun and truly made our trip unforgettable. We had two amazing days here and can’t thank you enough for such a wonderful experience!

Lovely spot - and a hot shower!

I went with two of my kids (11 and 8) and it was really lovely. We really enjoyed the swimming spot with the big floating trampoline and the rope swing! There were a lot of frogs and other water creatures to observe. I particularly enjoyed the hot shower and easy access to water, and our hosts were very accommodating and responsive. It was closer to the road than I expected. We could not see it from our site (3), but we could hear it. Our daily trips to the Scoops ice cream shop in town (3 mins by car) more than made up for it.

This spot is incredible! Chris and Leah are amazing, they are helpful and make sure you have what you need! The site itself is large and held space for 2 large tents and a kitchen tent. The fire pit is in great shape, along with the hammock! They supply garbage and recycling bings. The water is refreshing to swim in and they have multiple water toy options. Will definitely be back here!

Camp in pine forest next to river

Perfect spot in a pine forest. Hosts are really friendly. The river is great for paddleboard. There are also kayaks free of use. Highly recommended!

Fantastic Camping experience

Our camping experience was fantastic! The location was perfect with great access to the main road. Chris and his partner were lovely and supportive, helping us carry our stuff. Our campsite was close to the beach, and we were amazed by the facilities. There were 4 free kayaks, a trampoline, fish-catching baskets, tubing, and life jackets that made our day. The bathrooms were very clean with paper towels, showers with soap, and a great place for washing dishes and drinkable water, which was fantastic. Our campsite had a camping hammock, a great fireplace with a protector rack for barbecuing, and even fire starter branches. We also had a table, three chairs, and a plastic protector that came in handy during the early morning rain. Although we heard animal noises like raccoons in the middle of the night, which checked our stuff, it added to the adventure. They tried to open the trash cans and our Coleman. We found their fingerprints on our cooler in the morning, which was amusing (And a little scary...lol). Overall, it was our best camping experience, and we will definitely go back again. We give them a 10 out of 10 score!

Chris and his family are very welcoming. If you're looking for a nice quiet weekend in the woods with your family or your friends this is a great place. We (3) stayed in the cabin for the weekend and it was really nice to have the convenience of a private toilet as well as an oven and stove. The grounds are very well maintained and we had a nice fire pit and picnic table at our site. Lots of very cool wildlife to see as well. We had a great time at the beach as well as borrowing the kayaks and going for a little adventure. We will absolutely be back.

Another great weekend on Chris and Leah’s property. We had a wonderful time exploring the forested property with our pup and having a canoe and several kayaks available for a paddle made for a fun weekend. Will definitely be back!

Absolutely great water activities. A rope swing and trampoline, kayaks, canoe, fishing provided wonderful fun. Camping in the pine forest was quiet and private. Lovely place to relax and enjoy nature. Leah and Chris are responsive, helpful and engaging. Thank you. Site 3 is in a low lying area and extremely wet weather resulted in very muddy conditions on the site and made the short road to the water very slick. The other sites looked to be on higher ground and not muddy.
