We loved camping on David’s land! There was a ton of room to spread out, the water was an awesome feature for our dogs to play in, and the cows wandering by were hilarious! It was clean and comfortable and we felt very safe. We came with friends who had not camped before and they loved it. Great camping experience, we would go again and recommend to anybody. Thank you again!

A great frozen night
Great host. Minor issue with initial camp location. David met me and took me to a great spot by a creek. Much appreciated. Spent a freezing night making adjustments with some new gear. Picked the wrong night to try out a new Spring sleeping bag. Great experience.

Fantastic camping
Gorgeous camping spot on a pond and a short walk from the river. The trees were beginning to change colors, so it was pleasantly picturesque! During our trip we had some rain come in, so it was very nice to be able to tie a tarp between some trees to cover our fire. David, the campsite owner was easily accessible by phone call when we got a little turned around on our way to the campsite. I will definitely be coming back next time I’m in town!

PRIVATE Tent Camping!!!
We loved tent camping on David's farm. My grandson loved playing in the water and all of the wildlife. David was extremely responsive and had to give us directions. We had an excellent view of the stars and completely private! We will be back!

David was an excellent host, very responsive and helpful. The solitude was great. Good place to fish, too! If you're self-sufficient & like the backwoods, give David a ring... It's easy to find, not far from the city but feels miles away, very relaxing

We had a nice stay here and it was very peaceful and quiet at night. We heard some coyotes in the distance (my favorite) and slept well overnight. We enjoyed camping on the peninsula at the limestone pond with the fire pit and picnic table. Nobody else was around and we had the entire place to ourselves. It really was quite nice overall.
However, it wasn't quite what I was expecting. From the reviews it just seemed like a peaceful pasture-type setting. In reality, the acreage/farm has a very industrial feel to it. There is old farm equipment/machinery around and there is an oil storage tank as well as very large mounds of limestone/dirt. I also wasn't expecting as many cows as there were. They moo'ed to us all night long and some wandered through our campsite. I didn't mind them, but there were lots of them. There was also LOTS of cow patties around.
Does this take away from the peacefulness that is has? No. Asthetically, yes. It is just different than expected after reading other reviews.
Would I stay here again? Yes. It was nice and quiet and that's exactly what we were looking for when choosing this site.

This is a nice secluded place and the best thing is, it’s close to home. Unfortunately we chose a very hot weekend so it limited our time there but will return when it cools down. Thank you David!!!

Unique camping spot close to OKC
Very unique place to camp. We had complete privacy with the place to ourselves. A fire pit and picnic table are provided. There is firewood to gather in the area. Will come again!

My children and I had a wonderful experience! We were able to lay in the water all day and return to camp when it was dinner time. We forgot something important and luckily we were still close to stores but separated from the world. David was a wonderful host.

Hidden Gem!!!
This campsite is absolutely amazing!!! We booked one night and ended up staying 3!! We pulled our camper right up on the water, ( which only do if dry, no rain coming and 4x4). One side you have a fresh water lagoon, that you can swim in , or just a short walk to North Canidian River!! The animals will come visit you :) we had a blast with the donkeys that checked on us one evening !! They were super sweet!! If your bringing a camper I recommend bringing a generator and staying a few days, one day just was not enough time here :) David and his wife are great host and made sure our stay was wonderful and will definitely be back!!

Amazing weekend
We really enjoyed camping here- David answered all my questions prior to our arrival. Driving around looking for the lime pond- my husband against all of my protest- drove into what he thought was solid ground- (spoiler alert: it wasn’t) and got his truck stuck. He called David who was there very quickly and pulled him out. David was very friendly. We originally camped by a pond and woke up to a herd of cows and all their babies walking around and saying hi to us.
We moved to the lime pond and spent the day and evening swimming and hiking around his property. His property is beautiful and clean and again he went above and beyond to help us out.
We would love to come back and my husband promises to listen to me when I say to not drive on lime….

Camping with Animals!
David was a great host! Nice little secluded area with a limestone water area, as well as a river on the opposite side. My favorite part was getting to see the cows & donkeys! Elvis & Donk the donkey’s may come hangout but they’re harmless. Nice little getaway from the city!

I took my girls and the dog camping here for a quick getaway. We quickly fell in love with the place. It's secluded, peaceful and beautiful. There is plenty of land to roam and explore and wildlife is abundant.
Our favorite spot was the limestone lagoon. Playing in the white mud is like playing in a giant pond of oobleck. Even as the temperature reached well into the 90s the mud and water in the lagoon stayed cool.
We will definitely return.
