Cozy spot in a great location
Cozy spot in a great location. Matt and Sherry are great hosts with some nice campsites. Our site had a hammock, table, fire ring, and even a cook stand.
We enjoyed a lovely stay in the beautiful finger lakes :)

Nice hosts, has a nice bathroom and hot water to use outside. Sites were private and clean. Would recommend if your looking for a place to stay

Piglet’s waterhole
Pooh's Corner is awesome. It was perfect for our class b. Sheryl was a delight. You can even walk 5 minutes up the street and play disc golf with dinosaurs. No joke. We'll definitely consider staying again if we're ever in the area. Get the honey!

Matt and Sheryl were very welcoming even though I arrived late. I just slept in my car but the tent area was nice and flat and a short walk from the outhouse with compost toilet. Would recommend/stay again!

Van Camping!
Matt and Sheryl have an absolutely stunning camp ground! Very homey and well maintained! Very clean bathroom and clean water to drink!
They were very kind, gave us a tour, and even some recommended some things to do around town.
I definitely plan on camping with them in the future!

Roo’s hammock swing
Took my girlfriend camping for the first time here and we both loved it. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the site was great. This is a great spot for some not too difficult camping, the amenities provided made for a very relaxing trip. We were close to Seneca Lake and Watkins Glenn state park to go into town and hike for a day and return to the campsite to watch a great sunset and stars at night.

An escape still close to town!
Matt and Sheryl were so friendly and greeted me when I arrived. Since I was the only one staying I got to pick my campsite. Each site was a nice size and the ground was level for car camping. The compostable toilet in the bathroom area was incredibly clean -- much better than a porta potty. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone wanting to be close to Watkins Glen.

Great location
Camping at Sheryl and Matt's land was very nice. I had access to wood for the fire pit. The toilet area was extremely clean. Sheryl was also very welcoming and informative with the information she provided guiding me to fresh produce market. My dogs were able to run free with no leashes. The host also provided warm portable water. Great host awesome location near lots of winery and Watkins Glen state park. P.s. they have great wifi reception never loss cell service.

Great property
We enjoyed our stay at the property. Sheryl was very nice and showed the property. We were the only ones there during the weekend which was nice. Very easy to find. Having a compost toilet in a shed that is well stocked with TP, sanitizers, bug sprays, local area brochures and phone charger. There’s even a sitting area I side to take cover if weather was awful. Wood outside for fire, if needed. We really liked these touches. Outdoor means lots of animals sounds and noises. Can hear some car noise but not bothersome to us. We had great weekend sleeping outdoors.

My wife and I car camped here the night while visiting Watkins Glen and the Finger Lakes for our anniversary. The place was adorable and had everything we needed, plus the hosts were super friendly! We will be back for sure next time we visit!

Pooh’s hideaway
Pooh’s Corner was the perfect spot for our weekend getaway at the Finger Lakes. Matt and Sheryl welcomed us and gave us a quick tour around when we arrived. We stayed at the Pooh’s hideaway campsite which was the largest spot and the closest to the bathroom. The campsite had a campfire pit, a table with two chairs, a hammock, and a cooking grate that you could hang over the fire. There were lights that guided you to the shed that housed the toilet along with some travel guides and extra supplies. There was firewood and fresh water available right next to the shed. Overall it was a great experience and the atmosphere was very cozy. It’s only a 4 min drive from Watkins Glenn which was a nice added bonus!

Cutest campsite on our entire trip
We absolutely loved Pooh’s. It the kind of place where you can pull up after a long day on the road and it just has it all. Firewood for purchase. A great bathroom. And the hosts even brought us a table. The cutest campsite on our entire bike ride. The hosts were so sweet as well. And the camp space felt private.

Highly recommended for those looking for peace and quiet! If you're not put off by the Spartan facilities - and we weren't - then this is an ideal campsite. Shady pitches, plenty of privacy, very sympathetic owners. For your daily bath you can dive into Lake Seneca or one of the nearby streams. And the charming town of Watkins Glen, where you'll find everything else you need, is only a few minutes drive away. Thank you Matt and Sheryl!

What a lovely, magical, well maintained camp site.
We had lots of privacy, but also enjoyed knowing others were at campsites around enjoying this lovely space.
Firewood and fire pits made for an easy campfire setup and the composting toilet was super clean and easy to use. Highly recommend this sweet spot, nestled away but close to town and waterfall adventures.
Hosts were very kind, welcoming, and helpful!

Incredible place and great host!
The campsite is amazing. The honey was very good, the place quite and safe. The host (Sheryl) was so friendly, that we felt ourselves at home.
I recommend considering this place if you are planning to stay around Watkins Glen!

I loved spending time in the hammock and listening to the birds! The tent sites were grassy and felt private but were close to the welcome shed / compost toilet (which was very clean). Most of the sites were open so I got to walk around and choose my favorite. Matt and Sheryl were very kind and even gave me some recommendations for other waterfalls to see after the state park. I felt comfortable camping there as a solo woman.
