Absolutely Loved my trip!
We absolutely loved the views of the River and nature! The whole place felt very peaceful and relaxing! The hosts were very friendly and helpful when needed! Their farm was very nice with the animals and their garden was awesome! I would highly recommend anyone wanting to get away for a relaxing and peaceful weekend to checkout Moonlight Grove Farm! You won’t be disappointed! Looking forward to a return visit sometime in the spring!

Awesome Getaway
Spent two nights at the farm. We had a wonderful spot next to the Ohio river in our camper trailer. Susan and Larry were great hosts. They were very open to sharing their farm while also being respectful of our privacy. Enjoyed seeing all their farm animals and learning about them. Sunrises and sunsets where awesome. Had a nice fire by the water with stars and moon glow.

MoonLight Grove Farm
Wonderful hosts, amazing location.
Susan and Larry were the most amazing hosts! They went above and beyond to accommodate our needs, but were also kind to give us space. Their sweet dog came to visit, we walked the farm and said hello to the goats, pigs, donkey, and cows. We sat by the Ohio River watching the occasional barge go by and marveling that we were looking south at Indiana. It's incredibly peaceful and a perfect place to watch the moon rise. We had dinner at Doc's BBQ and ice cream at the Main Street Creamery. Brandenburg has a nice park near the waterfront and the Buttermilk Falls Trail. We really couldn't have asked for a better weekend!

Just an amazing place. Just go there. Watch the Riverboat and barges float by. Scratch the pigs and goats ears. You might even spot an eagle flying by. Susan and Larry are amazing hosts and you will feel totally welcomed yet have privacy at their place. So much history about the property that I learned on this last trip!!!

My stay at MoonLight Grove Farm was absolutely perfect. Susan and Larry have the most beautiful property and are friendly, welcoming, and fantastic hosts. It was great to connect with them.
They greeted me upon arrival, gave me a tour of their lovely home, and introduced me to the animals on their land. The outdoor shower and farm fresh eggs were delightful.
100% would recommend and am sure I will be back again on my travels!

Paradise!
We really enjoyed our stay at MoonLight Grove Farm! They have an adorable little farm with lots of chickens, goats and pigs. We were the only ones there so we had our choice of their two campsites. Both are right along the river and one is out in the open with fantastic views and the other is more private and in the woods. The hosts were very nice and accommodating. We will definitely be back.

Twinkle, Twinkle!
Great Camp! Secluded site that is clean and well maintained. There is a little drive in, but totally worth it. You will be nestled beneath the trees with a great view of the river as well as the farm. We enjoyed watching the barges and river wildlife, but my favorite was the fireflies. Oh my goodness. I have never seen fireflies dazzle the night sky like that before. Between the stars and the twinkling trees we had our own light show for the evening. WOW! The hosts are wonderful, very kind, responsive and informative. We would definitely revisit this camp.

Shady, secluded river overlook.
Susan and Larry were exceptional hosts.! They met us on our way in, showed us the ropes and then gave us lots of privacy. The property is beautiful and secluded. We were able to park our van with a nice view of the river over the bluff. There are two campsites available, a little way away from each other. We were there on weeknights and had the place to ourselves but if there had been people at the other site it wouldn’t have bothered us at all, there was tree coverage between the two. There is a toilet available and it was the nicest outhouse I’ve ever used. The view of the river through the trees was beautiful and there is water access. It’s a little bit of a steep trek but it’s totally doable if you take it easy. I personally wouldn’t carry anything bigger than a inner tube down the hill (we took a rope and tied off to a tree on the shore), it’s sandy and steep but it’s a great place to relax and be near or in the river. The beach and river bottom were sandy and .clear of debris and very pleasant. Overall our stay was excellent and the cute animals were a plus. We look forward to our next trip down to Moonlight Grove! Thanks again!

A very special place!
Susan and Larry have a magical place! You can just relax watching the river, or keep as busy as you want with visiting the animals. They both took special time away from their usual farm duties to let our kids taste fresh milk, introduce them to some sweet goats, and show them the best tree grove to see and catch lightning bugs! We climbed down the riverbank to fish, and waved at the barges as they passed. It’s our new favorite spot and we will be back!

Incredible!
We have probably stayed at 20 campsites all across the country and without hesitation this is the best one! Susan and Larry are so helpful, kind, and have done absolutely amazing work with their land. The campsite is so beautiful. The grass is nicely mowed and there is firewood provided. During the night, we saw so many fireflies. It was breathtaking. They are a working farm so there are lots of cute animals roaming around. They are friendly and were happy to show us around. You can even purchase seasonal goodies and fresh eggs. Even though they are close by, you have lots of privacy. The view of the river never gets old. We wish we never had to leave! Thank you for an unforgettable experience and we cannot wait to be back.

A big bonfire, sunset, and a river!
What a beautiful, peaceful campsite under the trees overlooking the Ohio River! Susan was very welcoming and her directions were easy to follow. Morning Grove Farm has heritage chickens, a dairy cow, and goats (eggs and maybe, fresh milk available to buy if you need to stock up). It’s in a beautiful location on a loop of the Ohio River and the two campsites are spacious and well maintained. They are also set up to provide lots of privacy. A big fire pit and a large wood pile meant we were able to have dinner and watch the sun go down by the light of a big bonfire. And, standing in the walnut grove watching the fireflies light up the night was magical! We had a very relaxing stay and will be returning!

Must visit campsite in Kentucky!
It was the first time for us to be camping in North Kentucky. We were probably very lucky to be there in the early spring. Everything was beautiful. We didn’t know how beautiful the land and nature is in North Kentucky. Blue sky. Forests. Rivers. Wild animals. Flowers. They are just beautiful.
The campsite is secluded, safe, and clean. Fire pit, bathroom, and shower are hand-made, clean and well maintained. There is the Ohio River right in front. You see Indiana across the river. You will never get bored there. You see barge ships come and go carrying a lot of different stuff all day and night. One barge ship slowed down. The captain came out onto the deck and waved his hands to us! I heard the river is from up Pittsburgh through down to New Orleans. They keep a lot of animals on the farm - cows, donkeys, goats, chicken, quail. They were extremely well taken care of. The animals are all healthy and the cages are all clean. It’s fun to visit goats and pet them. You never want to miss tasting their fresh "real" farm eggs. You should visit and see their gardens and greenhouse. Beehives, too. Don’t forget their doggies and cats, too. They live with 3 dogs. Their German Shepherd named Tagoda would never stop playing ball with you :) You wake up with chickens crowing in the morning. Being relaxed with sunshine in the nature. Enjoy campfire sitting down on the river side and watching the barge ships in the evening.
There are many things. However, I believe the most wonderful thing on this campsite is the host! Susan and Larry are definitely some of the nicest and greatest people in the world we've ever met. They respect your camp life and don’t bother you much. But you feel they are caring about you. They try to provide whatever you need. How nice it was of them to take time and tour you around on the farm, even when it was on the weekend and they were off work. Most of the stuff on the farm were hand-made by themselves. While using natural materials as much as possible, they take advantage of technologies including solar panels for the lights during the night and sustainable and energy-effective LED lights in the green house. Susan and Larry care about people in the community. It was nice to hear about their ideas about the world.
The night before we left, we saw an incredibly beautiful moon rising up. Then, we realized why Susan and Larry name their farm "MoonLight Grove Farm". We will be back.

Altogether wonderful......
MoonLight Grove is a beautiful piece of land by the river. Susan and Larry are very hospitable and the animals make the trip, especially the friendliest goat I have ever met. The barges honk hello and the roosters crow, it’s all together just a wonderful place to escape whatever your ordinary is. We will definitely be back!

The perfect camping location
This was the perfect campsite for my kids and me. We loved the secluded campsite along the river where we could watch the barges go by. The animals on the farm were fun to visit and the goats were very entertaining. Our hosts were so enjoyable to talk with and had our site stocked with firewood. The outhouse was very clean. We picked this location because it was just about an hour from Louisville, but will return because it’s awesome!

Great property! Will be back!
Susan was an excellent host and the property was great. Our kids loved seeing and interacting with the chickens, goats, and donkeys! The view is beautiful and the property feels very secluded. The amenities (outhouse and shower) were great to have. We'll definitely be going back!
