We only stayed for the night and did not get to venture the property or anything . But overall the place was well maintained, felt safe and easy to access.

Absolutely beautiful and peaceful place to stay!!!
This camp was exactly what we were looking for! Wife and I were headed down to meet a group of friends in NC, and brought our hammocks to camp the first night. We had a large open site on the river. Popped up the hammocks, ordered the large bundle of firewood and cooked dinner over the fire. We ordered the wood online after we got there, but a nice guy brought a wagon load of it over quickly. A quiet peaceful evening, was just what the doctor ordered. We would recommend and stay here again next time we are in the area
Stopped here for a quick overnight and the site was amazing, wish we had more time and will definitely be back next time in the area to spend some solid time at such a beautiful campground! Tons of great things to do for a day.
Always a great time, beautiful spot! Steve is prompt at responding if you need something. The little petting zoo and roaming goats at time is an added touch to your camping experience! Been camping here several times now and just love it!

Beautiful lots to tent camp on! Very clean and nice. Peaceful area and friendly people. Plenty of activities for the kids. Would love to go back!

I have mixed feelings about the campground. First positive, it’s clean and they keep up with the portapotties. Next, the sites are nice sized for campers with slide outs. Next, they deliver a large trash can to campers so they don’t have to take it to a dumpster. It was nice and quiet. Now just observations, there is a motorcycle off to the side with plates that expired in 2019 that I thought was strange (I’m a biker). They do have a few animals to pet (pony, donkey and goats) I am an animal lover and would like to have the donkeys hoof’s trimmed because they are way to long and it shows with the way he stands/walks. The only real thing I can say is the trees need to grow about 5 more feet but that’s not really an issue because I’m sure they are newly planted.
On a positive note, it’s 20 minutes away from the renaissance festival.

Absolutely plan on going back! The water was perfect for the kids, the games and hillbilly hot tub that were right by our site were a huge hit with the kids. Great place!

This place was very cool. I had an awesome site along the river. The owner brought me more than enough firewood and even stopped by to make sure everything was good. They had a petting zoo which was a nice touch.

Loved camping there! Spaces are well distanced, super scenic & steve was super chill and helpful
The tent sites were beautiful, with activities, lots of whimsical decorations, and wildflowers. The rv sites only had electric and water, no sewer sites, and no shade. We stayed 2 nights because I had already paid for 2 nights. The owner said he charges $60 a night for the rv sites, but when you go through Hipcamp to pay you are charged a total of $91.86 for each night which included a service fee for Hipcamp and tax. I would stay in a tent site, if I go back, but definitely not in an rv site for basically $92 a night.
I will definitely NOT book through Hipcamp ever again.

The sites were mostly grass. There is no onsite dump station or WiFi and phone service is weak. The owner changed the price of the site from our original conversation. A lawn mower was running at 7 am on Saturday morning.

This is such a cute place. Each camp site has its own theme and characteristics, so you can pick what fits your needs best. We had it almost to ourselves, so we really enjoyed a nice shady spot, and cooling off in the river. I would love to come back with a group sometime to take advantage of volleyball nets and pavilion
We had such a great time at Hones Pointe! We initially were going to stay only one night but decided last minute to extend our stay! The grounds are very well maintained, but a bit of a warning- if it rains while you’re there you will get muddy! The kids had more fun in the mud than anything else though 😂

Really cute place with plenty of areas to camp. The landscaping was all done so well. Would definitely recommend and will try to go back all day.

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place. it's beautiful. very unique. fun. relaxing. private. Everything me and my family were looking for. The owner is super nice and very helpful. my daughter loved visiting with all the animals. my son couldn't stop fishing. we floated on the water. It was a perfect weekend and we cannot wait to go back for even longer!

The sites are spacious and secluded and well kept. We really enjoyed our stay.
The Cottle Cabin was wonderful. It was very clean and has comfortable sleeping space for up to six people. The downstairs bedroom features a cozy queen‑size bed, and the loft area provides additional sleeping space that’s perfect for kids, teens, or anyone who enjoys a tucked‑away, cabin‑style place to sleep.
The cabin has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. The front porch is perfect for sitting outside and listening to the wildlife, and the campfire area—with its sturdy picnic table—made our evenings especially enjoyable.
The host is incredibly accommodating, checks in to make sure you have everything you need, and is available if anything comes up.
If you’re not interested in tent camping and don’t have an RV, this cabin is the ideal alternative.
We’re already looking forward to returning in the fall or winter to enjoy a fire in the woodstove.
Beautiful campground, it was large and clean, the kids loved the petting zoo and the playground!

This campsite was beautiful. We stayed at Holmes Hideaway and will definitely be back. I would recommend bringing plenty of bug spray but other than that it was very nice.

The primitive campsites were tucked back in the woods, and some offered beautiful river views. The electric sites were pull-through and convenient, though they had very little privacy between campsites. All sites included picnic tables and chairs, which was a nice touch.
The common area was a pleasant place to relax and spend time. During our stay, the weather was hot and humid, and unfortunately the portable toilets had a noticeable odor. Overall, the setting was nice, especially for those looking for wooded campsites and river views.

My husband & I only spent one night at Hones Pointe, but we thoroughly enjoyed it. The spot we chose was private but near the portapotty.When I sent a message, Steve was very quick to respond. Lots to explore here! We would happily stay again!
Great place to camp! Sites were good sized and the property was peaceful and felt very safe and secure. Perfect location if you want to camp for the KY Renaissance Festival.

Overall it was really nice, the campsites were clean and had good views. The porta potties were clean and steve responded quickly when we needed anything. I enjoyed seeing the area with the animals but I do wish it had been a little cleaner/safer for them.
