Spacious Oak Hammock
We stayed one night and were very comfortable. Lovely tidy property with plenty of level space for parking and beautiful shady oak trees. Teresa is super friendly and made us feel right at home. Highly recommend!

Spacious Oak Hammock
Great camp for Tour de San Felasco
I usually tent camp at O’Leno State Park when I do the Tour de San Felasco. This year there were no spots at O’Leno, but I found this gem of a place.
The campsite was clean, quiet and on level ground. Easy electric and water access.
The hosts were very welcoming.
My only regret is I didn’t have a chill day to just relax in my surroundings.

Teresa's land in High Springs was beautiful and peaceful. The live oak trees were majestic and awe inspiring. The outdoor kitchen and port o potti were extremely convenient and very clean. I would come and stay over and over again.

Pet friendly camping
Teri and her husband were very welcoming and accommodating. Their property is beautiful and peaceful with big beautiful oak trees and lots of privacy. There is a full kitchen and showers with hot water, and a cute cabin. I will definitely return!

We loved our stay at Teresa’s! The outdoor kitchen, and hot showers were fantastic! The property is beautiful and we couldn’t ask for better hosts! We also really enjoyed spending time with Nacho!!! The location was ideal for kayaking and hiking. Be sure to check out the brewery in town too!

Teresa and Mike were excellent hosts. The camping area is situated under several beautiful live oaks and there was plenty of room to spread out. 30 amp and water and picnic table at each site along with a fire pit upon request. The community kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals for our group of 10. Would definitely visit them again.

Friendly owners & comfortable stay
We were greeted with a big smile and told we could set up anywhere we liked and there were lots of options. I loved that there were several picnic tables and shady areas. We had intended to tent camp but discovered she also had a cabin for rent as well. Magnolia House if you want to look it up under Glamping. It was immaculately clean and comfortable. The outdoor shower had amazing water pressure and HOT water. My family and I can’t wait to visit again!

Everything You Need Under Huge Oaks
We had a great time under the huge mature live oaks that cover nearly all of the dispersed camping locations. Terri and Mike have an amazing place and were even better hosts. They were extremely helpful and welcoming. Great location near the springs or for a gameday weekend away from the crowds in Gainesville. Easy to get to location, roads are fine for just about anyone, and quick to get to nearby grocery stores and interstate 75. Nacho the camp mascot was a hit with the kids. Perfect place with enough room to bring a few families together in a quiet rural setting. Multiple spots available with electricity and water hookups. The outdoor shower was heated and fantastic! Loved the outdoor kitchen, so much easier than cooking in the popup we brought. Very clean porta potty available next to the showers. Had to quickly book their place the night before we arrived once O'Leno State Park cancelled our reservations (due to the tropical storm that came through), and Teri and Mike's quickly accommodated our family. Deer foraging right next to our camper. Wifi available! Firewood and fire pits available! First time using hipcamp and we couldn't have asked for a better set of hosts and location for our trip.

Spacious Oak Hammock
We are so happy that we could set up our RV at Spacious Oak Hammock. The site hosts Teri and Mike were outstanding and from the moment we got there were always available for any need that came up but honestly, everything was ready to go for us. Outdoor bathroom and hot showers and even a fully equipped outdoor kitchen that they let their campers use. The property is surrounded by massive large trees that provide endless shedding. Every day we would also see a bunch of deer roaming around the property and neighboring areas. You can't go wrong with booking this property to set up camp and we are already looking forward to when we book here again in the future. Thanks for being such great hosts Teri & Mike!

Want to get away?
This is the place. Peaceful, serene and secluded. We absolutely loved our time here. Terri and Mike were gracious hosts and made sure we had everything we needed. Close to the springs and plenty of water fun. As well as minutes away from quaint downtown High Springs and Alachua. We are already planning another trip to Spacious Oak Hammock!

Excellent accomodations on a budget
Teresa was kind enough to walk us to our spot when we drove in during a storm and got a bit lost using the GPS directions. The spot we got had a nice picnic table on a deck large enough to fit BOTH of our tents with room to spare. Outdoor kitchen common and fantastic outdoor HEATED showers. More than happy with our stay and would absolutely return!

Second stay at this sweet spot! I enjoyed the outdoor shower again and made use of the covered outdoor kitchen. Teresa showed me the adorably cute little cabin that they also have available. It’s cute from the outside but the inside swankiness is a must-see. Saving the best for last - Nacho the pup!!

What a great couple with a great property in a great part of Florida. Mere minutes away from some of the best and bluest natural springs in Florida. You’ll camp under the shady canopy of old growth oak trees. There are some glamour-rustic outdoor showers with hot water, an outdoor kitchen facility with everything you need. 30amp and water at every site.

Nacho’s Paradise
Such kind hosts!! This is an expansive, gorgeous property with an abundance of shade for your camp setup and vehicle. Water and electricity at the sites with fire pit and picnic table. Communal camp kitchen has so many amenities and space to prepare meals. The outdoor shower is a road tripping tent campers dream. The highlight for me was Nacho the resident four legger. He’s adorable and let’s you pet him for free :-)

Highly recommended! Teri and Mike were great hosts! The land is beautiful with lots of space in between campers! The oaks were gorgeous and my little doggy had a fabulous time! The showers and facilities were great. Watch for the pretty deer and listen to the birds chirping every morning! Very peaceful and beautiful and convenient to all of the springs in the area!

Great place to stay and enjoy
We were very happy with our stay! The hosts were very courteous, and were available to make sure we had everything we needed. The property was spacious (as name implies!), a good amount of shade from the beautiful trees, and we often saw deer in the distance. We had a lot of space to enjoy, and really appreciated the outdoor kitchen and showers. Also the access to electricity and water at our particular site was helpful. There were doggie friends for our pup to play with—the owners made sure it was ok to let them roam together—-our dog had the best time! Great experience, probably the best we have had at site.

A little live oak paradise near plenty of state parks and springs. Very welcoming spot with two of the kindest hosts you will ever meet. The outdoor showers are amazing! Such a plus. We would come back here any time we are in the area.

Great place to camp and relax!
Very peaceful environment with lots of options for all campers, whether tent or RV including access to power, water, outdoor kitchen (and coffee!) outdoor shower, porta potty, and picnic tables.
Dogs are welcome, too! My Min Pin enjoyed the laid back chillness of the Spacious Oak Hammock. Bring your binoculars to view the wildlife, including deer, owls, and a plethora of songbirds. Santa Fe River access is only a few miles away. If you are a super light sleeper, the dog kennel down the street may be an annoyance over night. The hosts are very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Peace, Quiet, Beautiful
Teresa’s Spacious Oak Hipcamp is excellent on so many levels! It was a real oasis for us, being the stop between two long drives. Teresa was totally accommodating, finding us the perfect spot and helping us get settled with all the basics. Her place is well taken care of, and the RV spots are far apart to ensure privacy and quiet. An added bonus for us was that our little dog found a great friend to run with - I think that was the happiest he’s been in weeks! Thank you to Teresa, Pam, and Autumn! Highest possible recommendation for Hipcampers!

Such a beautiful and peaceful space. Teri and Mike are super great they made everything easy and enjoyable. We loved getting to know them just as much as the beautiful setting of their land under amazing and sheltering trees. Thank you! We will be back.
