These ten acres have been waiting to be farmed! Jeff and I recently purchased the property with this in mind, and are excited to be on this adventure. Over a hundred blueberry bushes have been planted, and chickens are now in the coop. The family garden is filled and expanding, and the to-do list always seems longer than the done list. Arrive at a bell tent nestled in a forest setting ready for comfortable, low-effort camping on the south end of Quadra Island. Quadra Island is a large island off the eastern coast of Vancouver Island in British Columbia, Bring your camping stove, food and water and enjoy the peaceful forest and then explore the town, beaches and lakes of Quadra. At night, enjoy the dark sky and the milky way. Wildlife at our home includes owls, deer, ravens and vultures. Our glamping site is outfitted with: - canvas bell tent with awning- double size bed- table with chairs- books and games- a private porta-potty- private parking for one car (no trailer) Our campsite is on a private corner of our lot yet still relatively close to our home where we live full time. If you are travelling light, camping cookware can be rented. Pets welcome.
