Looking for something a little different? Our Lotus Belle Tent offers a 'glamping' experience, tucked amidst a cedar forest on 5 acres of private land, situated under Sentinel Mountain. Located 15-min from Castlegar and 24-min from Nelson, there is great access to a variety of outdoor adventures, fabulous dining spots and connecting with nature. The Lotus tent is suited for a solo traveller, a couple, or two friends who don't mind getting cozy together. We cannot accommodate pets or children. The Outback Lotus Belle is a 16ft canvas tent with 200 square feet of standing space. The tent is incredibly water resistant and the zippable screen windows and doors allow for great ventilation on the hotter days, while keeping the bugs out. You'll be pleasantly surprised with the cozy comforts provided inside the tent to make your stay comfortable. You'll have access to your own parking space within a close distance to the tent. There is a bathhouse just a short walk from the tent, where you'll find a composting toilet, handbasin, off grid hot water shower and potable water tap for your private use. Our policy is what you pack in you pack out, there is no garbage provided and we have a strict no food or beverage allowed inside the tent. We live in an area where bears frequent our land and it is vital to clean up and leave no food outside or in the tent. This also includes toothpaste. All of these items should be locked in your vehicle. You'll find instructions on how to use the shower and toilet in the bathhouse. There is a designated fire pit for your use, we will provide one nights worth of wood. After that bundles can be purchased for $10 (cash ). I have provided matches found inside the tent, I will also provide kindling and some paper. I recommend bringing an axe if you have one but strive to provide wood that fits the fire pit. I am more than happy to answer any questions if they should arise to support your stay.

Great spot with great amenities. The outdoor shower was wonderful after a day on our bikes.

Cedar Forest Glamping

Beautiful spot! It was so quiet, peaceful and clean. The tent was gorgeous and the bed very comfortable. The bathroom was great, a little different but well built and tucked out of the way. We loved our stay and would highly recommend it to anyone else.
