This is a beautiful 112 acre property. The ecosystem includes mature sugar maple forest, evergreen forest, Niagara escarpment and the river Manitou running through it. There are also marked trails to explore. The off-grid canvas bell tent is located on beautiful 112 acre property. The ecosystem includes mature sugar maple forest, evergreen forest, Niagara escarpment and the river Manitou running through it. There are also trails to explore. The tent is just 4 minutes walk away from the parking spot, in a secluded and quiet forest environment. We provide you with a cart, so it is easy to bring all your belongings to the spot. IMPORTANT: this is a camping experience, so if you are looking for a cottage experience for the price of camping, please don’t book this place. The tent is in the forested environment, so mosquitos and other insects are naturally to be expected here. WATER There is running cold and hot water in the glamping area that can be used for showering, cooking and cleaning dishes. KITCHEN The kitchen is stocked with pots and pans, cups, glasses, plates and cutlery and other helpful cooking utensils. There is a propane stove that can be used for cooking. You can also use a fire pit with a grill grate to cook your meals. As for the fridge we provide you with a cooler with ice packs and we can always exchange used ice packs for the frozen ones when you need them. There is a sink with running water to easily clean dishes. OUTHOUSE The cedar outhouse is located outside, it is compost style, so you have to put a scoop of provided wood shavings on the matter every time you go to the bathroom. SHOWER There is a comfortable new cedar shower in the glamping area that you can enjoy during your stay. ELECTRICITY This is an off-grid experience but for your convenience we provide you with a portable electric station that can be used to charge your devices and power some small appliances. The lights in the glamping area are all powered with solar panels. OTHER AMENITIES The bell tent is located in a private spot among mature trees, it has a fire pit with firewood to be used for burning. There are also two comfortable hammocks and of course over 100 acres of the property to hike on well-established trails. We have an organic garden and a greenhouse as a part of our homestead, so if you are interested in purchasing fresh produce, we’ll be able to assist you. TRAILS There are well-marked trails on the property and lots to explore on this beautiful 112 acres
