Spring Arbour bunkie was a magical experience for my husband and me. Although we were alone in the forest on our mid fall trip, we felt such a sense of peace cozied up in the glow of the wood stove. What a thrill to go up for a scenic ride in Erik’s ultra light two seater plane. We really lucked out finding this hipcamp. The instructions were excellent and the hosts very responsive.

From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a truly special place. Lisa's cabin isn't just a rental; it's a magical escape that feels instantly like home, only better. Everything about our stay exceeded expectations, and we can't recommend it—or Lisa as a host—highly enough. The entire property is meticulously maintained and offers such a sense of peace. Special mention: the amazing, clean pond. It was a sparkling centerpiece to the landscape! Whether we were enjoying our morning coffee by its edge or watching the sunset reflect off the water, it created the most tranquil atmosphere. It's clearly well-cared for, which made it such a joy to be around.

2 nights at Spring Arbour Magic Forest &Trails!

Location and Accommodation: 4.5/5 The bunkie was great. Very cozy and comfortable. It was fantastic to have access both the forested area, and an open field for watching the sunset/sunrise or stars at night. Highly recommend this location in the fall when the leaves are changing. Close to Backus Woods, where I had a lovely hike as well. Host Communication: 1/5 I was given too much information. Bombarded with four different text walls of instructions, rules etc. all saying almost the same thing but slightly differently (or contradicting one another sometimes). The only personal communication (aside from several pre-written ones) I received from hosts was a message that said "Okay only if you need please ##########." This was in response to my request that we communicate by phone number once I leave my house since I do not have internet on my phone. Honestly, it made me feel like I was bothering them if I had questions while I was there - and I did end up having questions about how to safely operate the air intake on the woodstove but I just decided to keep it to myself. Value: 3.5/5 This place was awesome, but a touch expensive. After paying an extra $22 for firewood (necessary - it was close to 0C at night) and cleaning fees (I did all the cleaning because I was told to leave it better than I found it. There are not even sheets to change) it was 270 for 2 nights. At that rate, I expect to at least be welcomed by the hosts. Overall, would return (after trying other spots)

A beautiful, secluded little spot. That perfect combination of feeling like you are camping within nature but with the luxuries of a gorgeous shelter and easy to use amenities. There is one other site but you wouldn't know they are there, there is enough distance. Host is very kind and communicates with fast responses.

I had such a wonderful time glamping here! The place was beautiful, comfortable, and surrounded by nature — a perfect blend of relaxation and adventure. The peaceful atmosphere made it such a refreshing escape from the city. Lisa and Scott were absolutely lovely hosts — warm, welcoming, and always happy to help. Their friendly approach really made the stay feel extra special! I loved the friendly chickens roaming around, adding a cute countryside touch. The barbecue setup was great, and spending the evening by the firewood under the stars was such a cozy experience. Kayaking was another highlight — calm waters, lovely views, and lots of fun! Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking to unwind and enjoy nature in a fun and comfortable way! 🌞🔥🚣‍♀️🐔

View of the lake was beautiful with access to the beach. Host was friendly and helpful (raining during our pack up and brought garbage bags to keep everything dry). What a great little get away. Comfortable and the hosts are pretty awesome. They give you all the privacy you need and wood was cut and ready to burn for a camp fire. I would recommend anyone who is looking to go

Weekend Trip to R&R Back Road Country Retreat

Renee & Randy your property is beautiful. We loved walking all your trails with our dogs. The thought you both put in to the little details like the dog library was so cute. The sunsets were gorgeous and we loved sitting on the floating dock every morning to drink our coffee. If anyone is looking for a get away weekend to disconnect this is the place to go!
