We just bought an old house inside of a Forrest. It is beautiful! We are fixing it up to be a great spot! The property is huge and gorgeous! Pond, berries, gardens, beach near by. Our family had a great experience at The Dillon! We enjoyed taking long walks along the quiet country roads, skipping stones at the beach and playing soccer in their backyard . The site was welcoming and our host very generous. They went above and beyond with an Easter egg hunt, toys for our kids and providing a basket of necessities.
Our family absolutely loved camping here. The hosts Kimberly and John were so welcoming to us. Special touches. The property is gorgeous, with a very spacious and private campsite, steps to the beach. You will be greeted with a touch of home here as well, veggie gardens to pick through and trails. Kimberly and John are great hosts and will accommodate any needs you have! What a fun experience!
100 percent we will be returning here next year!
Kimberly and family were very welcoming and helpful about their site and the surrounding area. The campsite is large, shaded, has all the camp amenities needed, and dog friendly. It's an easy walk from here to the beach, and well within range to Point Pelee and the Pelee Island ferry. Thanks.
Kimberly and her husband were super welcoming hosts. They communicated well and made sure I had everything I needed. They even brought me a breakfast sandwich and a drink the next morning. The camp site was shady and nice to hang out in. I really enjoyed the camp fire. The campsite had a lot of amenities, which I think a lot of people would appreciate. My personal preference is for a more minimal campsite that is more secluded (this one was somewhat close to the main house). This isn't a shortcoming of the campsite, just not the best match for my own preferences.
Kimberly was an amazing host! She was timely in communicating with me. We were welcomed to her property. And every camping amenity was available to us.
And the sweetest touch… as 3 women traveling together…she left us sweet facial masks for a bit of pampering.
The property was beautiful and welcoming and serene.
Great site for tent or RV. Very clean campsite, only 1min drive or 5min walk to beaches of Lake Erie, good hiking with the shoreline to yourself!
The hosts Kimberly and John were excellent! They had the site prepped with kindling, table and chairs, water, tent lou, and even toiletries!
Highly recommend, will be back!
There was an unexpected warm spell and the leaves were calling! Staying in the “forrest” at the Dillion was lovely. We were the first guests here and you could see all the effort our hosts went through to make our stay comfortable. Nice level spot, very private, easy directions.
