We stayed at Valerie’s campsite for one night in August, and honestly, it was one of the best camping experiences we’ve had in Canada. The view was just stunning! Valerie was super kind and helpful, and she made sure we had everything we needed. We can’t wait to come back in the fall!

Weekend Trip to Helund Acres
Nestled in a serene and picturesque haven, this spot is a nature paradise, where the only sounds are the breeze and the whispers of the wild. The hosts were great, making sure we had everything we need to make our stay perfect. I can’t wait to return! The cabin was spotless, with a refreshing breeze that kept everything feeling fresh. Plus, it’s an absolute dream for stargazing enthusiasts. Very private, highly recommended!

We had a great time camping on Valerie’s land. Valerie was extremely easy going and hospitable. We had an excellent campfire with an amazing sunset over the hill, great views! Very quiet, there was one other person staying a few sites over, not completely private but we parked in a way to make it more private, it was really a great little spot. Very close to a giant tiger and Ferris provincial park. Tons of fireflies! I wish I could leave photos to show how gorgeous it was! :) Would definitely recommend.

Valerie was a lovely host, very kind, informative and also gave me privacy during my stay. The sites are in a beautiful setting looking towards a tree covered Hill. All of the sites are well equipped with fire pits, tables and chairs (a nice change from a picnic table) but quite close together with little privacy in between. If the sites were full it would have been a lot different, but since I was alone it was great. It's close to 2 busier roads so traffic sounds were audible. A beautiful setting close to lots of amenities, places to visit, and activities in and around Campbellford. Thanks for a great stay!

Valerie was so kind all the time ; however, my boyfriend and I we couldn’t enjoy the camping because started to raining and we couldn’t sleep in our tent , he had to pick up everything faster and go inside the out car. But overall the place is very harmonious and the view is nice. 😊

Valerie was very kind to welcome us to her site on short notice. She was able to provide us with a nice, flat surface to park our campervan, despite her usual campsite being inaccessible due to snow and ice.
