Hastings Hideaway is a quiet forest nook, tucked under tall pines on a 100-acre off-grid property in Gilmour, Ontario. The site feels tucked away yet connected to nature, with an inviting firepit for evening gatherings and the main trail just steps away. Follow the trail through mixed woods to a ridge with a sweeping view, or simply settle in with a good book and the sound of the wind in the trees. Side trails are being added over time, but there’s already plenty to explore right from camp. Amenities include solar lighting and device charging, a small supply of non-potable water for washing, and a clean private outhouse. Had a great stay at the yurt, had a very cozy vibe, lots of space at the camp and there is a nice pond you can walk to on the property.
