Lanthorn is situated just north of Wakefield Quebec surrounded by forest, creeks, waterfalls, and hikes with views of the surrounding area. Our farm grows willow for basketry and living structures. We can also arrange to teach a weaving class for a fee. To learn more about our farm, you can visit Lanthorn.ca. On the property, there is also a large pottery studio which offers classes that you can book in advance of your visit. To do so, you can visit muraiceramique.com for details. We are home to a deer refuge founded in partnership with the Humane Society Canada which cares for a herd of sika deer rescued from a zoo closure. We also raise a small number of chicken, and sheep.

This was an incredible camping spot, the hosts are so so friendly, the property is gorgeous and all amenities are exactly as listed (inside shower and bathroom which were greaaat). They even build communal places to hang out like a gazebo with a fridge, freezer and access to electrical outlets, and a fully furnished living room for guests. We got a little bit cold the first night and they offered us some of their blankets which kept us warm for the rest of our trip. Know that the camping spots didn’t really have high anchor spots (like trees) to attach a clothing line or rain cover for your tent, but they have a picnic table and private fire pit. I would 100% recommend agape gardens to a friend 💕

Our third time staying at one of Kelly’s sites. Each one has been terrific, exactly as pictured. Pit toilets are cleaner and better equipped than some hotels! Kelly is a fantastic host. We really appreciated that she had her husband cut up a tree and bring it to our site for firewood as none was available for purchase and, being on motorcycles, she knew we would not be carrying any.

3 nights at Hidden Gem on Lorwell Lake

This was our 2nd time coming to Iris's property. We've agreed this will be an annual trip for us. Iris is so welcoming and kind. We love getting to chit chat with her during our stay. Her new dog Thunder was an absolute joy to be around. We were lucky to see Sterling again this year as well. You really don't need for much when you stay here. Trailer is very well equipped with the things you'll need to cook meals. Lorwell lake is stunning! Very clear clean water, great for swimming and kayaking. We absolutely love staying here!

Nice place, easy to find and arrive, very attentive, they have a lot of options. We used the space for tent, we went with our dog, and with a U-Haul truck, easy to move with the truck inside parking. Perfect for a one stay when moving to another province.

This is a great spot not far from the city! We stayed at one of the tent sites and really enjoyed using the cold plunge and sauna in the evening. We were made welcome and appreciated all the little touches!

Lovely couple days in this little slice of paradise! Jennie is a kind and welcoming host, and the property is beautiful. Spacious site, gorgeous views, clean bathroom, and carts available to help carry things from the car to the camp site. Loved hearing the chickens and cows throughout the day.
