We loved Elana’s land. It was definitely one of the most memorable camp ground. Host are very nice people and gave us free animals and farm tour. I highly recommend this place for family camping, group camping, and even kids farm birthday party.

Elana and family were wonderful hosts! I booked a few days just to “get away” and reset, and this was a perfect spot to do so. The animals (mini donkeys, oh my goodness!, the goat who welcomed me alongside Elana, the ducks that swam around the pond…) and the “Enchanted Forest” were highlights. I would have stayed longer (much longer!) if I could, and hope to be back next year… maybe to see baby donkeys or Highland cows? :) Thanks so much for a lovely weekend.

Woody and Elana were the kindest and most welcoming hosts, their camping area was absolutely stunning with the peaceful sounds of nature and animals. Their home and farm was the cutest and they have fresh eggs for sale which were amazing too! If you’re considering where to go camping I would wholeheartedly recommend camping here! Thank you both so much for the experience and welcoming ambiance!

What a cute little getaway. The hosts were amazing and easy to contact if we needed anything. Lots of room for our husky to run and play. I would love to bring our grandson up with us next time.
Inside the cabin is beautiful and also very spacious. Even when it was raining we all had a great time playing a few games of pool. The best was relaxing with the family around the fire pit.
The location is also very close to all amenities.

We had an amazing time, reflecting and relaxing. We stayed by the water and it was really beautiful listening to the water. The farm tour was awesome, I even got the help feed the pigs 🐷 which was really a highlight for me as they are one of my favourite animals. The donkey is the cute and so good looking and very well mannered. Frenchie and dumpling and the other goats are free range and super friendly! So many animals all well behaved! The cows were beautiful! Everything was beautiful and brings you back to earth! I would recommend this place anyone who loves animals and nature! If you don't like nature this place isn't for you, as you can meditate and reflect on your life to become one with nature.
The family is super knowledgeable and very welcoming. I feel like they welcomed my partner and our dog in as apart of there family for the weekend!
Just remember to bring a camping toilet and a table.
This place deserves a 10 star rating out of 5!!!!

My boyfriend and I camped here and we had an amazing time! The waters were so clear, nice spot to put up our tent and the views were gorgeous. We travelled a lot to port hope while we stayed here too and that was rlly fun. Jamie was wonderful and so were her dogs!! 10/10

We had a lovely time in the Igloo. The location is beautiful and the water was clean and swimmable. The zip line and the slide were pretty fun too. We oiled have loved if the toilet was not beside the bed, it doesn’t smell lovely while in bed. Nonetheless we had a lovely time. Cleaning guy crept up on us before 11 am check out and scared the bejesus out of us. Maybe coming after 11 am would be a nice touch. The sound of the river while sleeping was a plus ! Bring a fan if you are visiting in the summer it is hot. The sauna is lovely and close to the water so you can plunge when it’s hot;)

We loved Kaniyan's property. It was quiet and private and our dogs roamed around freely. The cottage was comfortable and had everything you could possibly need, and the pool table was a big hit. We'd definitely stay here again.

This was my first Hipcamping experience and it is going to be hard to beat! Jamie provided very clear directions and helpful tips on how to access the land. As I pulled in the drive and headed toward the lake, I knew this would be a place I would forever carry in my memories. My two sons and I camped RIGHT on the lip of Lake Ontario on a large and quiet site complete with a clean portable potty and a massive pavilion with ample seating if you need to get out of the weather. After a morning swim in the crystal clear lake waters, we packed up with our only regret being just having one night there. I would LOVE to return to this spot. Thank you for the great memories, Jamie!

Weekend Trip to Uxbridge Igloo
We had an amazing time at the Uxbridge igloo this summer. Our favourite part was the personal "lake" on the property that was perfect for swimming and cooling off after a hot day. They had a full BBQ and blackstone for cooking. The sauna looked cool but we never used it. Igloo itself is very nice, definition of glamping. Only issues were that the igloo gets really hot in the summer, bring a fan or two cause the A/C doesn't work. There also wasn't any utensils for cooking but they had everything else - working toilet, toiletries, blankets, pillows, towels, etc. We will definitely be back soon!!

We loved our stay in this unique, pentagon-shaped cottage. The kids loved it! We had three kids and 3 dogs with us and all had lots of room to play, eat and sleep comfortably.
The driveway is pretty steep leading up to the cottage and there are a number of steps leading from the driveway to the door so be prepared to get your steps in!
We stayed during a heat wave and the air conditioner kept the entire main floor and lower level very cool and comfortable.
There were a number of tv's though we didn't use them as we wanted an unplugged week away.
The office downstairs was the perfect spot for my husband to sit and work virtually when he had to on his computer he brought.
The cottage is very close to the LCBO, grocery store, trails and beach which was very convenient.
My brothers, my husband, sister-in law and myself enjoyed playing pools together downstairs after the kids went to bed.
We brought a kiddie pool which was easy to set-up under the top deck and fill with a hose nearby and the firepit area was used almost every night.
Kaniyan was very prompt and helpful in responding to my emails and WhatsAPP messages when we had questions.
I'm sure we will be staying there again!

This is an working farm and a beautiful slice of heaven. I have stayed here at least a dozen times have alwase had a peacefully relaxing night by the fire. Either at his glamping tent or at a tent site. Clean new bathrooms, chipmunks so friendly you can pet them. Friendly goats and more. The query is a private place to swim fish or just sit by water watch tame fish come look who is at the waterfront. Pet friendly, 10 min drive to Walmart Timmy's Macdonalds or convenience store just down the road. This place is spacial peacefull great spot to just relax and enjoy.
