The Quarry

Property with a limited number of sites with power however plenty of tent camping and self contained camping.

   The property was a recreational area with 88 camping sites. It is now a personal entertainment venue. On the property is a bath house with 4 warm showers and two toilets,  men’s and woman’s.

Wood Spring Club, Inc. (since 1957)

Wood Spring is a private members only rustic camping club. Hipcampers have access to all 52 acres including our pond, meadow, Little Buffalo Creek, and our hiking trails.

You’ll get a gate combination after confirming your stay. Enter through the gate on our one lane road, cross the shallow creek and end at our large open meadow. If the creek is ever too high to cross, park in the grassy area and walk across foot bridge.

GPS coordinates will be shared of your site. Enter those in your map software.

Welcome to our club you are a Wood Spring Member during your stay.

*Day Members shall have access to Corporation amenities and facilities and follow all rules. Day Membership includes an overnight stay. Day Membership is non-voting, and does not include status in the event Wood Spring were to dissolve. Day Members are not required to participate in Workdays

Buffalo Creek runs through Wood Spring and provides the fresh water for our pond.

Site #9: In the forest on the hill. Road is across from the old tennis court. Take road up and turn left. 

Mature woods provide calm and a great place to camp.

Lake Of The Woods Cabin Camp HST

Welcome to our charming cabin, built in the summer of 2022 from a simple 12X26 Amish frame. 

*Important note: Lake Rd is busy and there will be road noise that dies down after 11pm. There is a historic and active railroad line behind the cabin and you will hear the train pass through the day and night. Some people have found it cool or relaxing but others have not.

Nestled on its own 4-acre parcel within our family's 12-acre plot, this cozy retreat offers a private driveway and setting for your getaway.

New additions this year include a fire ring and porta-potty, adding to the complete experience of your stay. Just a mile down the road, you'll find access to Lake Erie, boasting a small beach and kayak slip. On clear nights, don't miss the opportunity to gaze at the stunning stars above.

Your host, Brian, has infused the cabin with photography and treasures from his global journeys, adding a unique touch to your stay. The hosts philosophy is to not bother you at all during your stay unless you have a specific need or concern, so your stay is all yours. The price is kept low to reflect this a campsite rental, not a hosted Airbnb. With that said every effort is made to make things comfy.

True campsite experience and not an Airbnb rental, meaning there is no electricity, water, or sewer on the property. However, we provide battery packs and solar options for your convenience. The dish sink operates with a foot pump connected to a 5-gallon water jug. Guests are welcome to bring their own wood or explore the surrounding area for available resources.

For your safety, please exercise caution when venturing into the woods and avoid approaching the active train tracks located at the back of the property.

While the passing train adds to the rustic charm of the setting, it may NOT be suitable for light sleepers. Road traffic noise tends to calm down in quiet hours. 

Bed sleeps 2 but up to 3 welcome.

We have ample parking at all locations. Extra vehicles can be parked anywhere in the whole gravel camping area as long as they do obstruct access to the other sites!

Tomtuga on the Erie Canal

 Thank you for looking at what I have to offer.

 We love to have fun here. Which is why we call our little campground Tomtuga. It is sort of a reference of the Caribbean pirate island of Tortuga, except my name is Tom. I'm here mostly for the canal and living the pirate life but there have been sightings of Bigfoot and his cousin Yeti. They show up once in awhile to keep things interesting.

&nbsp;Here at Tomtuga we are 2 acres with the Erie Canal across the front on a quiet street and the Genesee Valley Transportation, a local shortline railroad across the backyard. Boat season is May - Oct.&nbsp;Train runs mostly just two days a week all year. Step out and give the boats and trains a friendly wave.&nbsp;

&nbsp;We are a hard packed base that can handle the very large RVs. 

 Campsite #1 is where the 50amp / 30amp / 110 electric outlets are.&nbsp;

 Campsite #2 is the only area that has a "good" grassy spot. 
 With only two campsites, along with my RV here, it is a rather peaceful camp. There are no bathrooms here, so I'm sorry but no tent camping available. 

 We offer ''Buddy Camping'', in which if you are traveling with friends in a 2nd RV / camper. I allow you to both camp on the same campsite #1. You still need to book campsite #4. If you have more camping friends, I can add more campsites for each camper using our "Overflow sites" for booking. This is just a clerical thing for charges. Actually campsite #1 can hold three campers. 

 Also if you don't need power, like you have solar or batteries etc. I might allow you to park anywhere on our two acres. You book campsite #3. You can check the property out before setting up.

 I allow 2nd vehicles or also ''toads'' on the campsites too at no charge.&nbsp;

&nbsp;I'm Ok if you show up early from an overnight drive to the site and park in the main driveway. If there are not any previous campers onsite,&nbsp;I might let you into the site.&nbsp;Just let me know beforehand. 

&nbsp;*No bathrooms on the property! You must have self contained units!&nbsp;When I get the bathroom built, this will change. 

**Again, NO Bathrooms here! If you try to book posing as a ''campervan'' but just a van or staying in a cardboard box on a trailer, don't book here. Please go stealth camp at Walmart, they have bathrooms and are free to overnight. I wouldn't pee in your yard. 

&nbsp;No water hookups. No dumpstation either. We have free WiFi. Firewood available for $5 a bundle&nbsp;or bring your own.&nbsp;The local gas station has small bundles down the street for $8 each.

 * Please ask me before you let any of your dogs off leash. If there are other campers here, we all need to be in agreement on this. For their children and pets safety too. 

I do allow multiple dogs here. 

 Again, please clean up after them. Do NOT just toss it into my woods or the canal. 

&nbsp;Nice small canal town here with&nbsp;local eateries, including two pizza places; two bars and a breakfast lunch spot&nbsp;/ laundromat / hardware store / Dollar General / gas station.&nbsp;We have a veterinary in town too.&nbsp; All within a short walking distance.&nbsp;

&nbsp;NYS Bike path on the opposite side of the canal, goes from Buffalo to Albany. Some 350&nbsp;miles.&nbsp;

Also a free NYS Canal boat ramp 1,800ft to the east, on our side of the canal.

 So bring your bikes / kayaks / boats / fishing poles. Rentals available in Lockport. Worms available at the hardware store in town.

 We are also open during the winter season, Uh yep. Please message me before hand because it depends on the snow depth if I'm letting campers in.

 There is one 20 minutes south, just off the NY Thruway at the Flying J Truck Stop. 8484 Allegheny Rd, Pembroke. It is in the RV fuel island. Costs is $10. Get the code inside.

 Hey if you could, when on the booking page it asks you to "Say Hello". Please tell me what kind of camper you are coming in like an RV or trailer and the size. It asks you that question right above that but I don't receive that info till much later.

 Lots of people asking so, we are 30 miles from Niagara Falls. Very easy ride there and back using NYS Rt 104. This route goes along the Niagara escarpment with lots of farms stands and a few wineries.&nbsp;

 Most of my guests use my campsites as a basecamp to then go and explore Niagara Falls or even day trip to Toronto Canada 106 miles away. I provide a list of local NY info / places to visit in Canada and my experience on crossing the border. 

&nbsp;My camp to downtown Buffalo is 38 miles.

To downtown Rochester is 51 miles. 

Lake Ontario Olcott Beach is 17 miles. 

Letchworth NYS Park 60 miles. 

We are 42 miles to the Buffalo Bills (Highmark Stadium).

Bianca's Barn On Black Creek

Nestled in southern Niagara County in a peaceful setting in The Town of Wheatfield, this property has a southern facing RV site so you can enjoy the sun and sky. Wildlife includes Deer, Turkey, Coyote, Fox, Birds. Oak and maple trees as well as thick brush, gives plenty of privacy. 

Campfire ring,  kindling - ample supply of firewood is available at no charge 1/2 nights of split wood provided depending on use. You may split or use precut logs should you use more or have an extended stay

A nature trail, partially along black creek,  has been cut through the woods to take short walks or have a picnic under the Oaks. Friendly Pets are welcome.

The Boedo Pavillion

Welcome to our secluded 10-acre wooded retreat accessible via a private drive. Discover a tranquil haven featuring a picnic pavilion and tables, complemented by a fully-equipped cookhouse with charcoal grills. Big Tree Camping

This property is in Orchard Park.  It is two acres, surrounded by trees and a fence on three sides, which provides good privacy.

There is a large level area with 30a or 20a electrical available for small campers or very small trailers. Also a hose is available to fill water. This is site one. 

Alternatively, I have two great tent spaces (sites two and three) at the back of the property with more private areas to set up tents. 

There is a (shared) campfire stone pit at the back of the property. Split firewood is available for $5.00 per armload.&nbsp; Campers can take this from the firewood pile.

Chestnut Ridge park is a 7 minute drive.  It has great trails, including the Eternal Flame Hike, and a large fishing pond.  Green lake is also nearby with fishing and a good place for paddle boarding or kayaking.

The property is .5 mi from Bills Stadium.&nbsp; Lake Erie and its beaches are a 15 minute drive.  Frank Lloyd Wrights gray cliff property is 25 minutes away.Niagara Falls is 35 min.  Downtown Buffalo is 18 min.  There are walkable restaurants nearby (about .5 to 1 mi).

An indoor restroom is available at specific hours (typically 4pm-8:30 am)&nbsp;&nbsp;or if arranged in advance outside those hours. No shower is available.

Our beautiful campground was developed with the idea that you can be close to nature and rough it a little but still have the convenience of hot showers and flush toilets. We are located close to attractions but you will be surrounded by trees and birds and flowers after your busy day having fun.

Camp Christine

Pets welcome. Campfires are permitted within local regulations. This is a short hike-in tent site.It is a 3-minute drive to Crystal beach boat launch, restaurant, ice cream shop,&nbsp; and bar strip.&nbsp;This site is comfortable for 10 guests and more.

Acorn Lodge Red Oak Forest

Learn more about this land:Nestled in a red oak forest, or expansive grass meadow, campers can pitch a tent and be off the grid to enjoy wilderness among the visiting deer, turkey and other wildlife.

The campsite is located in Niagara-on-the-Lake.&nbsp;Nestled in a corner of the Niagara Region just beyond Niagara Falls.  Picturesque Niagara-on-the-Lake epitomizes old town charm where you can explore the area's several wineries, breweries, distilleries, world-class theatre at the Shaw Festival,&nbsp;and important historical landmarks surrounded by&nbsp;stunning waterfront views.&nbsp;

Leave your car on-site for the duration of your stay while you rent a bicycle to tour the area, sampling all that this rural small town has to offer.

Campfires are permitted, pets are welcome.

T's Pond

Like most folks who’ve been bitten by the water ski bug, I dreamed of having my own lake and when I met my life partner Harald, an elite slalom skier, my search began in earnest. By a combination of good timing and good luck, I was able to make that dream come true and in the spring of 2014 I acquired this land with the hopes of building my dream water ski lake on it. 7 years later, we have a thriving water ski club and are constantly making improvements to the site. We now have decided to add some sites for rent to share this incredible property with others outside the water ski community.

Site #1 is a small cabin that sleeps 3 and site #2 is a small houseboat that has been converted to a bunkie.  

Onsite activities include use of a canoe and paddleboard. Use of a kid's swingset and olympic trampoline. Swimming and fishing. 

Pets are welcome, campfires are permitted.

Cabin close to Lake Erie and trails

Come stay next to the beach! 

This beautiful rustic cabin sits on a treed lot with privacy.

The cabin includes a double Murphy bed, we supply all bedding. A Cot is available for a third person. The cabin is air-conditioned, has a small sitting area, fridge, Keurig coffee machine, and heater for the cooler nights in the fall. Firewood available. Washroom facilities include a hot shower ( bring your towels) and composting toilet within steps of the cabin. There is a propane BBQ and a Gazebo.  

There is a beach and a public park a couple minute walk from the cabin. There is  a 100 km bike trail within a 5-minute bike ride from the cabin. We offer the use of  bikes, and kayaks when available and weather permitted. Grocery stores, restaurants, and small shops, are all centrally located within ten minutes from cabin. While you are in town you can watch Lakers and Ocean Boats go through the canal

Within 15 minute is Ridgeway and Crystal Beach which offers concerts, beaches and activities.

We are centrally located, approximately 25 minutes from Niagara Falls attractions like casino, museums, zip lining, jet boat tours, hiking in the gorge and other major attractions.

Cabin comfortably fits a queen size air mattress for kiddos or additional sleeping space. 

Murphy bed is a double. Spacious for a peaceful one-person retreat. But cozy for a couple or small family. 

Fold out table with chairs in corner of the room. Antique trunk to store additional clothing or suitcase. 

From the cabin, it is a 5-minute walk to the beach. 

Plenty of lawn space for games, picnics, lounging, etc.

This structure, mere steps from the cabin, is where you will find the composting toilet and shower. The building is completely insulated.

Murphy bed folds up easily to create a multipurpose space. 

Foof’s Forest

Come set up camp on our peaceful property in a rural area just outside of Niagara Falls/Welland/Port Colborne, our space has one firepit, a pond, and plenty of trees. Pets are welcome, however,  we have chickens and 1 dog on our property, so your pets must be leashed, and we respectfully ask you to pick up after your animals. 

There is one outhouse on the property, a picnic table and BBQ (BBQ at your request) for your use. 

The campsite is on a grassy surface. There are no hookups, and generators are not allowed. 

Firewood is available from neighbors close by.

Another feature of this campsite is, LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION! The site is private, you will be the only campers for the nights that you book :)

We are a short drive to beautiful trails, beaches, and boat docks, with lots of great restaurants, wineries, breweries and so much more to do!

During your stay, we will always be available for any questions or concerns as we do live on the property. The campsite is completely private and set back away from our home.
