You will have total privacy for you and your guests and yours will be the only rental while you are here!
There is a main cabin that is set up for two people that comes with your rental.
There is also tons of mowed space for other guests to camp, included in the initial booking price, or, if they choose, they can rent our sleep cabin that has room for up to 7 more to sleep in a bed in a cozy cabin. We are happy to host large, friend and family gatherings.

Yurta Stay: the 4 seasons Yurta sits in the middle of our property atop a very private elevated area. Listen to subtle sounds permeate the yurt while enjoying the comfort of an insulated wood stove heated space year round! To increase the full effect of this experience, the Yurta is accessible on foot (300m walk from the car parking). A trolley is provided to transport your personal belongings.
Our Yurta provides a 226 square foot 4 season space. It has an operable dome and 3 large windows. It is insulated with 100% wool felt and is outfitted with a wood stove. It has no vinyl nor any toxic materials.
The Yurta space includes:
- 2 custom raised beds with mattresses. These could fit 2-4 people. An extra cot is available if needed.
- a wood stove
- an outdoor fire pit
- firewood for purchase ($8 / bundle)
- table and some chairs
- an outdoor dry toilet on a platform, toilet paper, water for washing hands
- drinking water, flush toilet, and shower accessible at the main house
- parking is by the main house which is a 300m walk to the Yurta

Weekend Trip to Meech Creek Falls
Neil has a great place 30 minutes away from Gatineau! U get plenty of privacy on his property. We've enjoyed the sound of the water crrek at night. There is a wood heater inside the tent so the temperature was not too cold in mid october. There is a grocery store 5 min from the camp.... Very convinient. Would recommend!

My husband and I came here for our first wedding anniversary. We had an amazing time! Choleena and Larry were the perfect hosts- super helpful, non-intrusive and even told us we could check out at anytime on our last day. The cabin was also great, very clean and well taken care of. Super close to Perth which is a very charming town. We would certainly love to return!

Truly a hidden little gem. Beautiful mountain terrain, with a charming little creek that flows through. Very minimal cabin with a wood stove and a open deck that works like a kitchenette.
Communication between the owner was no problem at all.

Weekend Trip to Glamping - Intimate Cabin & Campsites
This weekend was absolutely one of the most enjoyable weekends of my summer. It was so nice to unplug, Choleena & Larry ordered and set up an alternative to being able to have a fire during the ban, which was amazing, and it was so private and peaceful. I feel very refreshed and we certainly discussed coming back in the winter to further enjoy what the land has to offer. Not the mention the hosts are very thoughtful and ready to help. Thank you and cannot wait to return!

3 nights at Meech Creek Falls
This is a sweet little spot. The waterfall and river are epic. Loved relaxing in the comfortable hammock too. The glamping tent is spacious and well kept with a comfortable bed and all the extra bedding one might need. It’s nice to have the shaded outdoor sitting area that’s screened in. We did not use the sauna, but the shower is ice cold- just a heads up- no warm water. The tap water is excellent drinking water. The compost toilet situation is about what you’d expect- definitely no frills. While the fridge and laundry did not work at the time we were there, Neil was accommodating by providing daily ice and offering his machine. He was very responsive to all communication and overall we enjoyed our stay.

1 night at Meech Creek Falls
Meech Creek Falls is our new favourite getaway! Neal is a wonderful host, very friendly with a detailed tour to help us feel at home and make best use of the space. Very private and quiet, with amenities that are as creative and charming as they are convenient. We loved how easy it was to spend almost every moment out of doors enjoying the beautiful surroundings. This is a setup where you won't have to worry too much about the weather, as it would be quite adaptable to different conditions. The waterfall is not just beautiful but tons of fun to climb and explore, with a few great spots to wade in for a swim and sunny banks to rest on. Tent was cozy and clean with a comfortable mattress. Sleeping to the noise of the falls cannot be beat. We will be back for sure!

This was a great experience. Choleena and Larry were wonderful. The site is fully equipped so that it provides a full outdoor camping out feeling with all the comfort of cabin living. Site was clean and well organized and we had so much fun. Cooking, lounging and star gazing by the fire is a true relaxation. Would highly recommend.

Had such a wonderful glamping trip here with my son and puppy! The site had everything we needed, it’s clear how much care and love has gone into creating and maintaining this beautiful place. The sound of the creek running by all day and night was soo peaceful, and we all slept very well. There’s also lots to do in the area, making it a perfect little getaway when you want to escape the city without going too far. Ten out of ten recommend to anyone looking for a cozy, relaxing, and memorable stay!

Exactly what we were looking for. Very private. The cabin/bed area was perfect for the two of us. Wooden bundles were already ready for us at the fire pit. Had a covered area to sit at while it rained and we played some games there. Bbq and stove are perfect to cook with. We had a perfect few days at the cabin. Host are very kind and have thought of everything you need and it’s all available for use in the cabin. We will be back.

Weekend Trip to Ferme Lanthorn
We had such a wonderful time here! Mary made our stay so comfortable and really went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. The bunky is very cozy and perfectly fits two people in my opinion. The property is also gorgeous. So much open space, lots of bird songs, and being around all the animals was a real treat. I captured a couple really beautiful and unique field recordings there as well thanks to the diversity of nature sounds. I can’t wait to come back here!!

Choleena & Larry are fantastic hosts! Their property is amazing, welcoming & has everything you could need or want.
We were greeted just as we pulled into the driveway by Larry. He lead us up to the campsite in our vehicle, its an easy & beautiful drive through their property.
Everything in the campsite is labeled & there is a great manual that shows you where everything is and how to use it. A great amount of time & care has done into setting up this Glamping site & it shows!
We'll definitely be back to camp here again. Thanks a tonne Choleena & Larry
