Enjoy the best of both country and city. The property boasts amazing views of the Rideau Canal and glorious sunsets. Enjoy the outdoor fire pit, private Hot Tub and explore 10 acres of wooded, Canadian Shield bliss. Tiny home/guest cabin nestled in the trees but still conveniently located near parking and the main Road to town. Quick 15 minute drive to tourist attractions & historical downtown Kingston. Also near multiple lakes, hiking trails and other outdoor pursuits. Inside our Tiny Cabin is a main floor with living area, fold away dining table, full bathroom with toilet, sink and shower. The kitchenette has a sink, bar fridge with small freezer, stove top convection over/toaster, drip coffee maker, single burner element and microwave. It is fully stocked with cookware, utensils, dishes, coffee grounds, some spices and cooking oil. There is also an outdoor BBQ. The upstairs loft has Queen size bed, smart TV and clothing storage. All linens (sheets, towels etc. are included). The cabin is heated and we provide fans in the Summer months. We love animals but unfortunately our tiny cabin is not suitable for pets. Our cabin is strictly non smoking. We are passionate about tiny home living and leaving the smallest environmental footprint possible. The Tiny Teal Cabin was thoughtfully built to utilize minimal space and be energy efficient, all the while providing a serene sanctuary and escape amongst the trees. We encourage our guests to discover what it would be like to live with 'less' while discovering more in their surroundings.

We are a short drive to the hip Prince Edward County with its dining and wineries. Places nearby to kayak and caves to explore, Our property is a haven for wildlife and many species of birds and has a beautiful dark sky. If you are lucky you may see one of the resident deer that sanctuary on the property. At the end of the road is a fantastic ATV /bike/hike trails. Staying in the tipi is a magical experience that will bring you back in time. Star gaze, forest bathe, detox in the sauna, catch up on the book you're reading in our Nakie hammock for 2. We will be offering at additional cost breakfast in bed and our version of a night time turn down service including a bedtime foot soak with marl clay, himalayan salt and lavender. Complimentary fresh flowers from the flower farm up the road when available and farm fresh eggs. We can offer romantic engagement packages. We look forward to sharing our enchanted property with you. Welcome to Funky Places and Cool Spaces! Our little plot of waterfront land is a place of healing and co-operative living. We, (Rusty and Marty) are co-habitating in separate residences on the same property with a shared vision of community and sustainability. Our residences are not off grid yet but the cottage, (which is for guests to rent, Rusty"s tiny house, Marty's tipi and the school bus conversion all share a 60 amp service. We collectively aspire to a simple and natura,l alternative way of life, living as close to nature as we can. We utilize the sun and earth to create our own energy and food sources and leave a minimum carbon footprint. We actively try to reduce, reuse and recycle as much as we can in an effort to honour Mother Earth and her gifts. Each residence has a lovely view of the lake and private areas. There are a canoe and kayak for guests to use, BBQ, fire pit. Please bring your own linens and drinking water. Everything else is provided. Guests are welcome to investigate the small organic gardens and ask us about our gardening methods and vision.

The Eco Glamping Cabin has a kitchenette with an air fryer oven and a stove with two induction burners to help you have simple control over your meal plans. The kitchen can be moved outside during sunny weather. Or use the shared propane BBQ or campfire pit with a grill. In the Green Man Garden, you can learn and teach organic practices and hand-harvest the culinary herbs we grow to add to your meals. You have lots of room to book a time to relax in the shared five-person Hot Tub we keep at 38C. The Big-screen TV uses WIFI, and so can you. For a video production fee, you can book our guitars for creating a music video or a Nature video with you talking to our plants.
