The bunkie, screened gazebo, outdoor summer kitchen area is nestled in forest. The acre site is quiet and private. Yet you’re in a rural village a half block from the boat launch. A short stroll to the pub. A brief jaunt to the Newboro locks. Note: open June 1 to September 15. 8 minutes to Westport restaurants and bars. Live music most nights. Or keep it relaxed amongst nature with a bbq, fridge, etc for easy glamp life. The property is well hidden in forest. The bunkie looks into the forest and is super cute, originally a Florida cruiser the owner and builder adapted for bunkie life. Very comfortable queen bed, little dining nook, sink. Outdoor heated shower area. Composting toilet room. Offering relaxed easy to use amenities as well as comfortable spaces. The quiet private location and comfortable bedroom has been a hit with couples looking for a unique getaway. The Newboro area has canoeing, boating, a play park and access to pickleball courts. Westport has the beach, shopping, restaurants and night life.There is only one site. It’s flat, with sunny plaza, shaded screened gazebo, open summer kitchen, comfortable bunkie, shower, washroom. For groups there is a much coveted burro trailer with additional bed, table, water. Access to second outbuilding washroom. Best suited to one person. Additional fee.
