We stayed at the Hemlock Grove site with 7 people, 3 cars and had plenty of room! We had 2 hammocks and 3 tents, this site is great for hammocking. Brent was very accommodating and provided all the information we needed. Unfortunately we got hit with some bad weather, but I would recommend Tryfan Forest to anyone looking to enjoy a quiet weekend on a beautiful piece of land.

First time here and the host was very welcoming. We picked a spot close to the water but there was no car access to the site so we had to change it at the last minute. The host was very accommodating and made the changes without any issue. We like the site we chose and would come back again.

4 nights at Lighthouse Landing Camp
We had a great time at Light House Landing! We celebrated our 6th anniversary at the cabin and it was a great experience, we woke up every morning to a beautiful sunrise on the lake! Jim, Alyssa and Fran have created such a welcoming environment and were great hosts (like texting to tell us turtles were hatching on the beach one morning or showing us how to feed the chickadees). The cabins were very nice, clean and on the water. We would highly recommend this little slice of paradise

Bret was a fantastic host! Very easy to communicate with and flexible. The campsite is perfect if you’re looking to spend quality time immersed in nature, away from crowds. Nice spot for hammock/tent camping. Cleared spots, along with very little underbrush. Hardest part is getting up the initial hill from the parking area. Shower was nice and easy to use and was refreshing with how hot it was when we were there. If visiting in July bring bug nets/spray. The mosquitoes are hungry. Sara gave good instructions for the site. We didn’t have any issues, just in and out.

I struggle to find the right words to describe what an AMAZING time I experienced at Lighthouse Landing. The location is beautiful, with an abundance of wildflowers, pristine waterfront access steps away from any location on the property, and cabins that provide the right balance between comfort and practicality. More importantly, Jim, Alyssa, Asher and Fran (Granny) make the place what it is, Superb! They are friendly, inviting, caring, thoughtful and kind. Somehow they get the balance right between being available to ensure your enjoyment and providing an environment of peace and privacy. My five days four night at this location reminded me of the healing powers of nature, a beautiful setting, and amazing hosts.

We had a wonderful stay at Lighthouse Landing Camp. The cabin was cozy, surrounded by nature which provided many relaxing moments. What made the stay even better were the hosts. Always friendly and helpful, providing local suggestions as well as sharing their personal stories of the camp's history. We came back home feeling refreshed, relaxed and looking forward to another opportunity to stay at this beautiful location.

We enjoyed our stay at Sara’s camp and used it as a base for day trips in the area. Sara was super- responsive and was very helpful when we experienced some car issues. We enjoyed the short walk to the small public beach and dock and, also to the dog-friendly beach further along.

Vanessa place was really nice we enjoyed, she was in touch with us all the time with clear directions, tips of what we have around and could do, she left a amazing welcoming box full of treats like s'mores, tea, tim hortons drinks, bars a lot of things and also lighter and flash lights ohh also firewood. You got place by yourself no one bothers. Definitely we love to come back!!!
