Please be respectful of the other campers and leave the property as clean as you found it. There is horseback riding available next door and canoe, kayak and SUP rentals 2 km from the campsites. These campsites are also located within the Geocaching Capital of Canada, so a great place to find treasures, nearby. Kingscote Lake is about 7 km up the road and High Falls Hiking trailhead is about 2 km from campsites.

Weekend Trip to Rockingham Creek Valley

I booked a last minute camping trip with my daughter on Augusts Creekside site Oct 18. He greeted us and oriented us on our arrival. The land is beautiful and the site was very spacious. We had the option of pitching our tent on the platform. We had tons of space for our tent, dog bed, chairs and 'kitchen'. The site also has a large fire pit(tons of wood available) and BBQ. We enjoyed our night so much on this peaceful piece of property we definitely plan to go back🌞 Highlights were the trails (rugged), the creek/waterfall and Roxy the horse who was our neighbor during our stay. August assured us he was just across the road should we need anything. Our phone provider didn't work there (Rogers works there) so it was great to know we didn't need to go far in case of emergency.

Absolutely Stunning and Peaceful Escape! 🌲💦 We just returned from an incredible stay at this beautiful campsite and couldn’t be happier. The scenery was breathtaking — especially the waterfalls, which were not only gorgeous but so much fun to explore. There were plenty of well-marked trails that made hiking easy and enjoyable for all skill levels. The host was fantastic — welcoming, helpful, and made sure everything was just right. Everything was great! Big site right next to the beach with electricity, water and flush toilets very close (always clean). Hosts were very friendly and accommodating and so were the other people at the campground. Wood was delivered to our site and it was a good price for a lot of wood. Amazing fireworks display for Canada Day! Water was beautiful! Absolutely nothing to complain about. Very happy to have found this place and looking forward to going back😊

We went tent camping at Ray and Melissa’s and it was fantastic!! We got to pet chickens, alpacas, and we learned so much on our alpaca walk. In the evening, we settled in with our campfire and watched hundreds of fireflies dancing on a field of wildflowers. Such a perfect camping spot, I can’t recommend enough!

Weekend Trip to Six Waterfalls

Wasn’t a marker to find the property but a quick call and we were able to find the site no problem. There’s 2 sites on this property, wish I was able to get my camper up the the back site but having the front site was nice and easy to pull in and out since it was a pull through but close to road and back site is more for tents. Lots of dragon flies, wild flowers, berries and trails. We brought water shoes with us due to other reviews and glad we did. Had a lot of fun walking up the creek in the water to check out and cool down in all the falls. We walked all the way up to the pond where there’s a third fire pit area. There’s locals that like to walk through the property to hike the falls but once they realized we were setting up camp they politely and respectfully left. This is a place that I’d like to come back to since we like the area and is nice to have the property to ourselves. Bonus is the public beach 7min drive from site which we enjoyed having to ourselves twice over the weekend.

The public beach close by is also worth visiting, and it's a beautiful lake. Might be a little hot in the summer months as there's not much in the way of shade, and unfortunately our May stay was during black fly season, but overrall would recommend if the provincial parks are full/you're looking for something a little different!
