Only 1 RV site on our 11 acre property located on a dead-end road within a small residential community. Newly groomed trail is located 20 feet East of the site so you can walk, run, bike, ATV or hike the trail. 

NOTE: Only 1 single RV permitted on site. No additional units, tents or trailers permitted. Reservation will be cancelled if not adhered to.

Site Features: 

RV Pad is 65' long by 20' wide with room for slides

- 20 AMP electrical (not recommended for RVs that require 50 AMPs unless you have generator power to supplement demand.)

- Fast WiFi included on-site.

- Gray water hookup on-site so you don't need to worry about filling your tank.

- Portable black water tank rental available (Must be added to booking for additional fee).

- Wood deck with covered gazebo, privacy walls and bug netting for extra comfort.

- Fire pit provided (additional fee for firewood). Check Burn ban updated 2pm daily at https://novascotia.ca/burnsafe/

- Propane fire pit and propane tank available to rent. (OK to use during fire bans)

- 20 to 40 minutes to Dartmouth and Halifax City via Hwy #107 or #207.

- 5 to 15 minutes to many popular ocean beaches and surfing.

- Full shopping centre within 10 minutes in Porters Lake. (Fuel, grocery, liquor, pharmacy, vet, restaurants, hardware store, bank, pizza shops, cheesecake and more)

- 7 km long newly groomed trail for biking, running, walking and ATVs. (4.6 miles)

Self-check-in time is 2pm and checkout is no later than 11am. If the site is ready earlier, we will send a message to you.

Tent/Camper Camping by the Ocean!

Nestled in a quaint old Fishing Town is a 4-Acre Forest property, that hadn’t been touched since 1885! 

This land overlooks the North Atlantic Ocean, with a 25ft bank at the edge of the property, and almost 200ft of stone beach!

No potable water on this property (well water is available by hose for cooking/cleaning/showering), but 10 minutes by car you’ll find a Sobeys, a liquor store, a laundromat/cafe, a pub, a Home Hardware, and small local shops that carry camping supplies and so much more!

There should be a grey plastic rounded table available (just pop in the 4 peg legs), and 2 matching grey small coffee side tables you can use positioned under the Tiny Home.  Please return them somewhere underneath the Tiny Home when you are done using them so that other campers may use them :) 

30 min drive away is the infamous Martinique Beach, a very popular surfing spot!  

Lots of hiking and site seeing available nearby as well. 

A long drive way is the entry point to the camping site. 

All I ask is that each camper leaves the property better than you found it. As you depart, another camper is most likely arriving so please keep that in mind. 

Enjoy the peace and quiet under the stars, and fall asleep to the sounds of the waves breaking against the shore, and the leaves rustling in the breeze!

There is currently a Tiny Home on the property being built, and it is currently occupied by the property owner full-time. 

Garbage pick-up in this area only allows one black plastic bag to be removed every 2 weeks. If your garbage is in a clear bag the city will take it and you can put your sealed garbage in a clear bag in the wood box at the end of the driveway.   The city ONLY takes clear bags.  Recycling is allowed in blue bags. 

Due to this restriction, I am not able to handle all the campers garbage -- please take any that you create with you if you do not have clear bags. 

If any camper is found to have stayed past the check out time, they will be charged for another nights stay.

As of May 2024 the Tiny Home has been moved to allow easy access now for trucks, RVs, and any other vehicles to be able to enjoy the property! 

There is now 120 volts at 15 amps available on the property!  Accessible on the outside of the shed, which is about 100ft from where most people camp.

Welcome to our beautiful small country-style goat farm, located only 45 mins from Halifax!

The camping area is ideal for all types of campers. RVers (up to 35 ft) can expect a pull-in site that will require some leveling. There is no toilet on-site so BYO camping toilet. Pets are welcome. Fires are permitted within local regulation.&nbsp;

We are located just off the 102 highway outside Truro in the village of Brookfield. You will enjoy spectacular views, ATV trails, lake water sports, parks, and local village shops nearby. Our farm is&nbsp;frequently visited by wildlife.

5 mins from the gorgeous Martinique Beach. You can hear the waves when the wind is right, and the cheerful chirps of the birds in the morning and the peepers in the evening will sooth the mind and ease the soul.  There's plenty to explore in nearby Musquodoboit Harbour including maintained hiking trails, farmer's market, cafes and more.
