WIFI can be used on the porch or if you are parking an RV near the house. I work from home sewing Hanging HUGS custom luxury hammocks and can teach you how to sew your own, or offer what I have in stock. An expedition sea kayaker and expert rock climber, with more than 25 years experience giving clients a unique look at our province, it's my pleasure to introduce you to favourite spots. We also own an off-grid camping area 45 minutes south close to Fundy Trail Provincial Park and have made a hiking trail to an epic location which I have been developing for rock climbing over 10 years. Pull a kayak to the river in ten minutes or try a loop trail around the property on a fat bike. You could easily fill a weekend here with outdoor activities and make memories you'll never forget.

We have a half acre lake front lot with privacy. We have access directly to the lake from the lot and a laneway for a small boat as well. There is fishing, paddle boarding, boating, hiking and walking on these quiet roads in the wilderness. The Bay of Fundy is down the road maybe 2-5 min. If you want peace and quiet then here it is, a nice fresh lot on a lake out in the middle of no where. We DO NOT have any any of the equipment (kayaks, paddle boards and fishing equip) there you must bring your own. There is no washroom or electricity yet, so please be aware of this.

This shore-front property is located along the Cumberland Bay Stream, which flows through marsh wetlands and empties into Grand Lake (the largest fresh water lake in New Brunswick). Don’t forget your camera! There's lots to see in nature! We named our property "The Old Canoe", inspired by the old canoes we used while growing up. Although this is an outdoor enthusiast's dream, you don't HAVE to be one to appreciate these unique vacation rentals, which provide a unique semi-off-grid experience with nature. It's a perfect couples retreat, or single's escape. Fancy Outhouses are provided near your rental and near the Shore, and an Outdoor Heated Shower in the forest promises a refreshing experience. Guests enjoy FREE use of our shore, canoes, and kayaks (depending on weather conditions). SWIMMING IS NOT ADVISED, as it is somewhat muddy/marshy, and shallow ... but it's PERFECT for small watercraft and fishing! WHAT TO PACK: Food and ice in a cooler, and your clothes! You may also want to bring rubber boots or water shoes, sunscreen, and insect repellant. Rentals are stocked with just about everything else you'll need for a great stay, including propane BBQ and burner. CHECK OUR LISTINGS FOR DETAILS ON WHAT'S INCLUDED. To be candid, this IS NOT a party place! We've lived on this 15-acre property for several years, and enjoy all it has to offer, so we decided to let others enjoy it too! Private spot and right on the lake! Enjoyed our two day stay. Our 20ft R-pod fit nicely on the lot. Google maps did not show us the alternate route to avoid driving up the steep mountain.

1 night at The Old Canoe

A beautiful experience from beginning to end. Charlotte was wonderful to communicate with. I was travelling from Minnesota to PEI and her Hipcamp was the perfect stop for a camping break while still camping. If I lived in New Brunswick I would love to spend a weekend there. Charlotte has created so many outdoor spaces to spend time, provided outdoor games, kayaks, trails to explore, and so much more. Every detail was provided. After being on the road for 3 weeks it was nice to have a comfortable nights sleep and feel taken care of. The outdoor shower was wonderful. I highly recommend - would be great as an artists retreat!

Beautiful spot! Perfect place for our pop up camper, level and lots of space to maneuver. No issues getting our small boat in and out of the lake. Caught a fish! Wonderful trip!
