We are OPEN despite the current issues. No fires are allowed due to provincial bans. Enjoy the quiet skyline and maybe even catch a glimpse of the local wildlife. Our grass lots are backed with lush Appalachian forest and leads way to a slow brook where you can wade with the tide or try your hand at fishing or simply sit by the fire and enjoy the solitude. Check in is self guided as there is no host on site but you'll find it simple as all sites, as well as the toilet area is well marked with signage. Wood is available for purchase if you didn’t bring your own! We are currently fencing in the entire property to make it a dog/cat and livestock safe area so pets can enjoy a safer experience . This will be done in stages so hang tight with us until this is completed.

Looking to see multiple provinces?? We are in the perfect spot to see all of what the East coast has to offer. View PEI’s spectacular Confederation Bridge from the shoreline and take a drive to PEI which is only minutes from us. Mainland Nova Scotia is less than a 30 minute drive and if your adventurous and want to drive the Cabot Trail then you can reach Cape Breton Island in under 2 hours! Catch a Ferry to Newfoundland if your heart desires.

We arrived with our trailer which is self contained late in the season and Manuel's place welcomed us with friendly hospitality . We stayed one night and the weather was rainy so we did not have a chance to hike the property but the welcome was warm and friendly.

Property is right on the road but there is a long dirt driveway the length of the property that allows you to get back away from the road. The vegetation was a bit overgrown and dry when we stayed so we didn’t drive all the way back but there is a nice flat field area in the back that would be a nice spot to park for the night.

I had a fantastic time at this spot and thanks to helmut our host he made it that jeun better. We ended up staying 1.5 days due to the heavy wind and the fire ban (both out of our hosts control) but he was very helpful setting up our tents, providing us with his bbq in his garage to cook and offered us a place through a neighbor friend who wasn’t far either.
I would definitely and highly recommend helmut and this space.
We drive from montreal just to see the ocean and Ute as worth it. Also-the stars at night were amazing. You can really appreciate the clean air, the minimum pollution and traffic in this province and the time and space to connect to nature.

Highly recommend. A great spot, overlooking the “Baie Verte,” right on the ocean. Host Hrlmut is a wonderful guy, super hospitable, and clearly loves the land he is stewarding. The potable water, picnic table, and fire pit are nice touches. Usual summer mosquitos are present.

NS provincial park fire ban. Way to ruin camping… off grid ftw. Great, amazingly nice hardworking people, both Mike and Salma. Chantal the horse trainer is amazing with kids and even taught me not to pick at how well a chore is done, rather that it is done at all.
Kids loved the cave, and rock climbing. I’d have to say the zip line was both of their highlight at the park. 🥳

Outstansing amenities: 15/30/50A, water, sewer lower than the tanks, complimentary fire wood, trash can on site, stray of illuminated lights, picnic table, feee wifi. Very calm and close to Kouchibougouac National Park. Communications with owner were easy, friendly and with quick answers

The place is clean and not far from the beach with the car... A garbage place would have been nice ;) there is a lot of wind so not recommended for tents in the middle ;)

With kids
Evan is building a great little campground. We were very happy with our stay! We really loved the fact that there was rental trailers there so that our friends could camp with us for the weekend. They had a lot of toys available for kids, which was great for our group. The sites were very clean and nice and level! The firepits were a really nice size too! Evan and his family were very nice and he checked in on us a couple times just to make sure we had everything we needed. Overall great experience and great weekend! We will be back for sure!
