We are OPEN despite the current issues. No fires are allowed due to provincial bans. Enjoy the quiet skyline and maybe even catch a glimpse of the local wildlife. Our grass lots are backed with lush Appalachian forest and leads way to a slow brook where you can wade with the tide or try your hand at fishing or simply sit by the fire and enjoy the solitude. Check in is self guided as there is no host on site but you'll find it simple as all sites, as well as the toilet area is well marked with signage. This doesn’t mean we aren’t here to help, you can reach us 24/7 via text.
We are Located just off the Acadian Coastal Drive and minutes from the beautiful Fundy shore. You can bring your tent, RV, van or camper and choose from 4 fantastic sites. 1-30 amp service, 2
roadside non-serviced as well as one privative forested site and 3 tent sites. All sites are equipped with a fire pit and access to our outhouse restroom. Wood is available for purchase if you didn’t bring your own! We are currently fencing in the entire property to make it a dog/cat and livestock safe area so pets can enjoy a safer experience . This will be done in stages so hang tight with us until this is completed.
You can also explore New Brunswick with a drive on Acadian Coastal Drive ·Appalachian Range Route · Fundy Coastal Drive · Miramichi River Route or Fundy Coastal Drive Stop by and visit Murray Corner Provincial park for a swim and watch the tide roll out.
Looking to see multiple provinces?? We are in the perfect spot to see all of what the East coast has to offer. View PEI’s spectacular Confederation Bridge from the shoreline and take a drive to PEI which is only minutes from us. Mainland Nova Scotia is less than a 30 minute drive and if your adventurous and want to drive the Cabot Trail then you can reach Cape Breton Island in under 2 hours! Catch a Ferry to Newfoundland if your heart desires.

This shore-front property is located along the Cumberland Bay Stream, which flows through marsh wetlands and empties into Grand Lake (the largest fresh water lake in New Brunswick). Don’t forget your camera! There's lots to see in nature!
We named our property "The Old Canoe", inspired by the old canoes we used while growing up.
Although this is an outdoor enthusiast's dream, you don't HAVE to be one to appreciate these unique vacation rentals, which provide a unique semi-off-grid experience with nature.

We arrived with our trailer which is self contained late in the season and Manuel's place welcomed us with friendly hospitality . We stayed one night and the weather was rainy so we did not have a chance to hike the property but the welcome was warm and friendly.

This is one of the most beautiful pieces of properties I’ve ever seen! The river water was so clear you can see all the way to the bottom,.
Surrounded by a gorgeous wooded area - the views were spectacular!
The army tent was so cosy and comfortable with a great skylight view of the stars. Nestled in history - it feels like you’re stepping back in time. All you need is a sleeping bag.
We truly appreciated the hosts, Brad and Erica. Their knowledge of the history of the area was extremely interesting. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Thank you to both of you!
I wish I could give them more stars than just the five stars allowed as it truly was an experience of a lifetime.
So very grateful to have visited this place. We will be back again and again!

A beautiful experience from beginning to end. Charlotte was wonderful to communicate with. I was travelling from Minnesota to PEI and her Hipcamp was the perfect stop for a camping break while still camping. If I lived in New Brunswick I would love to spend a weekend there. Charlotte has created so many outdoor spaces to spend time, provided outdoor games, kayaks, trails to explore, and so much more. Every detail was provided. After being on the road for 3 weeks it was nice to have a comfortable nights sleep and feel taken care of. The outdoor shower was wonderful. I highly recommend - would be great as an artists retreat!

Site one is great with excellent tree coverage and trails through the woods and the field to walk/run through. Hosts were super sweet and nice :) the water is quite far away (about an hr walk) and you can hear cars from the road at camp site 1 but the beautiful camp area makes up for that 100% brought a dog and three young kiddos and they loved it!! Also so many fireflies it was beautiful!
