Not a suite in a house in a subdivision! Golden Ears Glamping is a forested riverside getaway that has has two types of stays: The Cabin-like self contained suite with private entrance and your personal hot tub or the riverside self-contained Glamping Tent with seclusion and a personal 2 person tub.
1. The Bear Suite, attached to the house that has complete privacy. Private entrance, hot tub for two, and deck with personal BBQ. and personal lounge area.
Walls are double and ceiling is soundproofed.
2. Rivers Edge, a riverfront (Alouette River South) glamping tent that is elevated in the large cedars overlooking the river.
Personal kitchenette, full bathroom and outdoor shower.
We have one Glamping tent and is completely private and is away hidden from the main house but close enough for anything you request.
Either option of accommodation has everything you need to "Relax, Rejuvenate and Romance" (our motto).
We are professional hosts and take this seriously, your happiness is our 1st goal.
We have a huge river frontage with a swimmable natural pond and many relaxation areas that are very private and secluded. Great for fishing for rainbows all year round, salmon in fall, and steelhead in the winter.
We have been hosting for seven years now and everyone loves this place and have many returning guests year after year.
We are so close to metro Vancouver and anywhere in the Fraser Valley so you don't need a big road trip. We have people coming from Australia, Europe, lots from the U.S., even returning guests from Hawaii.

Nestled in the heart of the Tamihi Recreational Area, just 20 minutes from town, our property offers a rare blend of seclusion and adventure. Surrounded on three sides by lush, moss-draped forest and bordered on the fourth by the stunning Chilliwack River, it’s a true nature lover’s paradise.
Enjoy a spacious riverside beach, great for swimming during the summer and fall & has world-class fishing. The area features Class I–IV rapids, ideal for whitewater kayaking, with Chilliwack River Rafting just minutes away.
There isn't river access at the sites. The stairs to the beach are through the covered picnic shelter. There is now a light wire fence along the river in riverfront sites for some protection because of the drop-off & undercut banks (not shown in the pictures).
We have an endless network of trails and logging roads, perfect for ATVs (ride directly out of our gate), hiking, and biking. Whether you’re seeking adrenaline or tranquility, this property offers both.
ATV's are idle in - idle out only.
QUIET, well-mannered, leashed pets are welcome if you pick up after them.
LONG WEEKENDS are a minimum of 3 nights.
CHILDREN MUST be accompanied by a parent at all times!
FIREWOOD is $9. for a large feed bag full & is available between 8 AM and 8 PM.
BEEF and EGGS: We have grass-fed Black Angus beef for sale and we occasionally have eggs from our pastured chickens.
Our free-range kind, gentle horses also wander the property. Any interactions with them are at your own risk! The gate must be kept closed because of them.

Very quiet, cute and comfortable. Relaxing to the sound of the river in the adorable hot tub was a magical getaway and so close to home. Clean room with lots of amenities including massage table, yoga mats and games, this is a great location nestled on the rocky river banks the owners have made sure to include everything you could need. Weekend Trip to Raylia Cottage Farm Stay
What a perfect stay! Michele was a lovely host and the cabin was in such a beautiful, peaceful spot. I loved the vibe of the cabin, cosy with the option to make a fire (loved chopping wood), and lots of cosy dvds' and vhs's to watch on the couch. The cabin also had its own privacy (its far enough from the main house & has its own driveway) which was perfect for us. It's located in a super convenient spot too, probably the best part of the island to stay - right next to a few cute shops, coffee carts and a restaurant while still being tucked away in the woods. Also next to a lovely hike. Would highly recommend!!!

Greg and Shelly are extremely kind and have such a beautiful home! Very clean and LOTs of appliances and fun things to do in and on the property. They had dry firewood ready for use and the hottub was hot and well kept. We had hummingbird visitors and were able to go down to the river and see salmon swimming! We used the bbq that was full of propane also. We are returning guests and highly recommend visiting! They were so generous to invite us to stay longer past the check out time as there were no guests after us so we enjoyed being able to sleep in and pack up without rushing. Very happy to be up in such a gorgeous area. Don’t hesitate to book with them!

This is a fun and quirky place, with lots of people. With all that, it still has some private areas. Everyone seemed friendly, and the team there was very conscious of serving the guests.
We'd come back if we're in the area.

2 nights at Oceans Edge Eagle Retreat
We enjoyed our time there. The outdoor kitchen was great and had everything we needed for cooking and cleaning up. The outdoor showers were beautiful, I could stare up at the Eagle’s Nest thru the clear ceiling.
Some of the sites had no names and so it was difficult to find our site. Several people had this issue. Tina’s number goes to a voicemail that has not been set-up so we could not reach her by phone.
Some people showed up and she did not show their reservation. That was frustrating for some.
Also, there is not a beach in the traditional sense of a beach. There is a nice long boardwalk thru a grassy wetland with birds, ducks, geese, and groundhogs. It takes you to a spot where you can see the water far away.
Shonna, the assistant was a great help! She worked non-stop making sure everyone was comfortable and happy!
Not such a fan of the port-potties but we survived. Lol😆

With kids
Was a cozy place to stay the beds were so comfortable. Neat outdoor shower experience you can see the eagle nest above. Was so nice to have a morning coffeee and see the eagle and her baby flying around and being busy bringing stuff to the nest. I loved the outdoor shared kitchen. Had a chance to meet some other campers there who were all friendly made a nice experience for us. No pressure. Friendly atmosphere. Wish we stayed there longer. Will come back if we go to the area again.

Situé à moins de 15 minutes du traversier pour aller à Victoria, ce camping a des douches à ciel ouvert propres, de bons gros arbres pour de l’ombre, est proche d’une route peu passante avec la baie comme voisine en face. Site très beau, tout vert et sécure. Possibilité de faire du vélo. Hôtesse fort accueillante et accommodante. Je le recommande sans hésitation.
