We had such a lovely stay! Claire was very responsive. All of the directions to manage the treehouse were clearly outlined and the treehouse looked exactly like the photos! We came during the winter time and there was an abundant amount of wood to keep the tent warm! Overall, we had a beautiful stay with everything we needed.

Absolutely phenomenal experience. Claire provided clear, thoughtful, and detailed instructions and information every step of the way, from our questions prior to booking, to the instruction booklets on site that ensured a stress free stay. The property itself was very easy to find and navigate, and the treehouse was absolutely magical. You can feel the love and care that the hosts have put into the property in every detail, and we felt as though they covered every aspect of comfort we could possibly ask for, providing plenty of wood, blankets, and simple, but much appriciated amentities. The treehouse is also within comfortable walking distance from the parking area but is still private, which allows for the most breathtaking and scerene viewing of the mountains and birds in the area. I can't say that I have ever stayed somewhere that has compared to this, and would easily choose this experience over any luxury hotel, even considering our snowy morning. Our only regret is that we only stayed one night, and would definitely recommend booking two or more nights so you can take advantage of the hiking trails and appreciate it too it's full extent!!

The tent was a good size (for the 2 people it was booked for), the projector was top quality and a really good addition. Ended up watching a film and some tv to fall asleep to, which was great. The tent and bed were clean, and the utensils were sufficient for our short (3 day) stay. As someone who doesn't camp often, I was impressed with how inoffensive the smell of a composting toilet was. Only slight issue is that the water in the hot tub was a bit green, but appreciate that this may be caused by the water supply! Overall a great stay, and if im back in West Canada, id definitely stay again

I love the GlamperVan! We only stayed the night as we were passing through but I could see myself spending more time here someday. Nicole was incredibly communicative and easy to chat with. Dane, the campground manager was super friendly and helpful too which was fantastic. The place was easy to find from Golden, and once we were on the property it wasn’t hard to follow the signs to the van. The campsite was already set up for us when we arrived and had everything we could possibly need for the stay. Yes, there were lots of mosquitos but you have to expect bugs in the woods! Just a fantastic stay and a great place to get away! Thank you for having us!

The GlamperVan under the stars is a super cozy spot. I had found it for breaking up a long drive to Alberta and only stayed the one night. I would love to stay a longer period and enjoy all the amenities. Nicole sets everything up and has the spot ready for you to enjoy a quiet camping experience without having to bring all the gear. The spot was easy to find and navigate, the view from my site was gorgeous, and I am looking forward to booking here again, maybe the Honeymoon site next! Thank you, we had a great stay.

Had the best Hipcamp experience ever at this spot, everything was perfect. First - I didn’t talk to a single person my entire stay! Just pulled right on in and set up camp. The toilets are compost toilets but that is really the only negative I have. The hot tub and shower were awesome. Hot water ready and felt so relaxing in the 40 degree Fahrenheit weather. The projector in the tent was amazing, watched some of my favorite comfort movies to fall asleep to. So peaceful 100/10

Weekend Trip to Sauna Under the Stars Camping

We got there right before they close access and left early in the morning so we didn't take the time to really enjoy what they offered. Nontheless, Nicole was very friendly and helpful with her recommendations for places to visit in town. The road from the entrance to the campsite will be bumpy so beware. It was slightly creepy from the entrance to the welcome booth because it felt like we were going the wrong way, but as soon as you see it you'll see a map and a welcome note from the host. The van was cozy and comfortable. They provide blankets, pillows, mosquito coils, firewood, and cooking gear. The van even had a small wooden stove to keep you warm, we just didn't use it. They offer food like eggs and sausages for extra and they own a market in town! The ducks roaming around were adorable and they had a sauna and cold plunge area. We enjoyed our short stay in Goonieland and would definitely come back next time we're stopping in Golden.

We walked by all three of Claire’s sites and they all looked great. We stayed at the eagle’s nest which has a small deck above the patio which provides a beautiful view East over the valley. We were able to walk up to the canyon ridge trail directly from our cabin (even though our prairie navigation skills were freaking out!) and get a bit of a hike in before the rain started in harder. The trails are maintained by the local bike club, so that’s an added bonus. As a side note, however, be prepared for mosquitoes (absolutely ferocious!). We loved the cabin and thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Highly recommended!

Weekend Trip to Sauna Under the Stars Camping

This was a great little getaway from the stampede festivities! It was so peaceful and quiet with a great view of the mountains. The bed was extremely comfortable, we slept throughout the night. The camper was clean and the campground was well kept. The only downside was the road in - the driveway as well as the dirt road to the campsite were rough. I wouldn't recommend taking a low vehicle to the site! Ours had 4WD but it was low so the drive was rough. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay here and will likely come back again.
